DIY landing gear: Native Slayer

  • I made two sets for our two Native Slayer. The same concept could be used to make sets or most kayaks probably.

    That's a slick setup, I need to make a set of wheels for our sit on tops and this swivel design is very nice idea. Thanks for sharing your design.

      Thanks! I like it because I can put the front of the kayak in the way and roll it right in. You can push the landing gear around with your paddle and sit it up on the back.

    Other than the rugged look, this is 100 times better than the Boonedox.
    And just like you, I don't want to shell out $300 for three pipes and two wheels.
    I will borrow your swing design and incorporated into the design that have brewing in my head.
    I know it's a little late, but thank you for sharing.

      They were push mower wheels from Lowe’s. They were $14 each. I wanted the bigger diameter to keep some clearance as the boondox rudder is really long
