- These are NBA shots, but as the video goes on the arc of the shot gets higher. It starts off with low-arcing shots then progresses to higher-arcing shots.

The crowd didn't freak out like some of the other shots but it was still nice. It looks like the crowd was mostly fans for the other team because no one stood up after that went in lol.

And for the record, the higher arc your shot has, the less distance it normal can and will carry. That's how wildly difficult and skilled these kinds of shots are. So many so freaking deep, with such other worldly arc, and they just... drain like they were normal easy shots.

CLEARLY what I mean by the less distance it can and will carry is FORWARD - NOT OVERALL. Like, no shit, it carries MORE distance overall because of all the extra length of time it goes through the air with higher and higher arcs.
The more arced a shot is, the more velocity it loses compared to a normal arcing shot. Its basic physics.

A guy who wasn't on this list who almost always shot high arching jumper was Ben Gordon. It was almost every jump shot.
The Lamb shot arcs so high it doesn't even stay in frame. The camera tilts up to follow it and it still goes out of frame for a second.
I've often said my two favourite shots in NBA history were both made by Hornets - Baron Davis sinking a ridiculous full court shot on three-quarter time vs the Bucks, and Lamb's game-winning magic vs the Raptors.

Note that due to simple geometry, low arcing is actually much harder to get than high arcing. The reason is that the margin of error is much further reduced in low arcing shots.
