That Test match India deserved to win. India were in such a DOMINANT position at one time. But umpires gave SO SO SO many wrong decisions (some of them were too ridiculous) that led to India's defeat.
That was one of the most undeserving series win of AUS.
For me, India is still the "winner" of that series.
So the fact that India have never officially won a series in AUS doesn't bother me much.

I remember that test match in Sydney Ricky Ponting and co were disgraceful, It reminded me of a test match in England 1987 when India were given a target of 420 Gavaskar scored a double century and Vishwanath scored 150. India would have won that test match if the umpires David Constant and England Captain Mike Brearley hadn't cheated. Vishwanath Catch was not taken cleanly, Venkat was not run out, in the end India were 10 runs short, the match was drawn. Vipin (UK)
