I love this song, easily among my top 10 favorite Hirasawa songs. I suppose it's a very loose allegory that could be applied to anything - and that's the beauty of it - but personally, from the moment I heard it, the song always seemed to speak to me about achieving a seemingly impossible task that forces you into the depths of hopelessness. If there's a will, there's a way, and that includes a way to recovery. Hirasawa is one of the few things that can truly inspire hope in me when I feel my absolute worst. I feel like I could climb my own mountains when I hear this enchanting melody.

You are absolutely right. It seems like everytime I am facing a very daunting task I find myself subconsciously going to hirasawa's work- if music is an extension of the soul, his work reflects that
It's far beyond obvious how I got here, but I will definitely keep lurking for these great tracks. Even if not berserk related he has some fantastic music, I am frankly very blown away by his quality and dynamic pieces.
Since I'm fairly new to his music, feel free to suggest and must listen to tracks.

The lyrics makes me associate it with concepts of computer sciences, like emergent computing and ant colony algorithm. The love-like days started with Ada Lovelace, then we have electronics, with electrons being the Golden Silence conducting signals through wires, among the semi-conducting rocks.

The worst part is that the only time he toured outside of Japan was in Thailand, as he made 3 concerts in Bangkok (most likely because Thailand is one of his biggest influences in some of his albums, he even recorded some of his songs in Bangkok).

It is ok if you can not understand what he is saying, even native Japanese speakers have trouble figuring out what Susumu is saying.
Most of his lyrics sounds like poetry heavy with metaphor. He also has a habit of using very old words and he has almost been known to make up words.
I have shown the lyrics books to some friends from Japan and they can't figure it out.

Berserk introduced me to Susumu Hirasawa for the first time. It's kinda sad that he didn't get the OP and ED for Berserk, too. The original OP and ED were... Ehm.... Not very fitting to say the least.
Berserk changed my entire manga habits, the Eclipse was so shocking. I love Berserk with every fiber of my body.

I really like both versions of the album tracks. But I sort of feel inclined towards the original version of MOST of the track, simply because it was what I heard first. Sometimes I do like version two of tracks more than version one, like with Rocket Shoot and Love Song, but not here.
