I like this experimental split of Servant Lore vids v FGO gameplay Fino, I certainly would love to see another From Fiction to Fate title vid from you! Would be awesome to see you do research on em and give your Fino Flair and humor ^^
Tbf the meaning behind its flag is quite cool it's meaning is no matter how far you push them we will always stand hence the wheel of legs also it's between England and Ireland
Fun fact: Manannán would've been leader of the pre-Christian Irish pantheon while doing most/all of this. Funner fact: His behaviour was not unusual by their standards.
@@HellecticMojo I mean there was that one time St Patrick supposedly impaled a converting lord's foot by accident during his baptism and the guy said nothing because he thought it was just part of the ritual...
I really love these videos, Fino. Actually learning the story of the characters you play as is actually really interesting. Plus your voice is always a treat to hear
I don’t mind the other way but I like the split because it means I can share the videos with my non FGO playing friends who would still be interested in Fate adjacent lore/wiki rabbit holes. Also it means you could do videos on servants separated from the banner/event meta schedule.
I think I prefer one video, but this definitely works as needed. My only request is for Pseudo-Servants like this one, it would be nice to get a bit of the story for the Fate character they're inhabiting. Not as import for the ones where the god has the wheel 100% of the time, but it would be nice for ones like this where both characters matter in FGO.
I think that would be neat too. The Reines event got me interested in learning more about her and why Sima Yi would consider her a good match, and this format is shorter than watching Case Files and more fun than a wiki dive. Same goes for Luvia, who between that event and NA Valentine's is showing up a lot lately.
Got a feeling Crazy Yurie's analysis is going to have some choice words if he ever covers Manannan. Fate's take on him is way less bonkers than the real deal, and think we missed out because of it. But who knows, maybe in future stories we'll see more of his mischievous side come out and have an inluence on Bazett. Fragarach being a counterattack NP seems fitting though, judging by that story where Manannan made a whole group of attacking soldiers play themselves. Of course Bazett's influence is probably what makes the counter more hands-on, so to speak.
I do have to ask, are you planning on including Manannan's interactions with some of the heroes of the Ulster cycle in the next video, or will those not be touched upon. Although I do get that in terms of Cu Chulainn that it's more about Manannan's wife Fand than Manannan himself.
This is odin, odin did similar shit, the norse learned not to be terrible to their guests because "oops that was odin" I conjecture the faerie/greek idea of "you must be a good host" spawned from the head gods of these earlier religions being jackasses and tricksters.
You didn’t actually talk about Bazzet’s gameplay in this video. I would prefer it you talk at least a little bit the game mechanics in your future videos
I mean if you want a guide of some kinds there are like idk, 5 other channels that regurgitates the wikipedia page back to you and then some. Or you know, maybe just don't skip the first 10 seconds next time?
Wow. Yeah I kinda see bazetts point now why would he choose her as a pseudo servant this guys actually crazy
That and she’s the only one, technically her family is the reason why Celtic gods have a very tiny amount of existence. It’s why bazett has fragrach
Real life Sheogorath
What I expected: A story about how giving Manannan mac Lir was, considering that seems what Bazzet says about him.
What I got: A Loony Tunes skit.
I did not expect such a good aligned god to go around the Isle Of Man playing tik tok pranks.

I had to google where the Isle of Man was
The funny flag land
Leg

Fino has one hell of a voice for this

No wonder Christianity beat THIS out.

I appreciate your tellings of history. Great vibes.
Imagine doing this format for Arjuna Alter xd
Wtf. Those stories are bat shit crazy

this is a really fun concept
woah. a separate video just for lore 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. loved it ❤❤
This man is incredibly quirky, what in the world
Now I'm imagining Manannan walking up to Arjuna (Alter) to do a bit of trolling.
Love these. Thank you!
Mananaan: Chill it's just a prank bro

I'll be expecting this series on the History Channel by the end of the week
This man can inflict birth damage via harp, 10/10
really cool vid
Sanest Celtic Myth😂
Strange type of "F" around and find out.

Thank you for the video it's as informative as ever. I have to ask is there anything about Lugh and Fragrarach?
Bro's a troll lmao

Is this the inspiration for Tom Bombadil? Because this lunatic is getting away with everything.
I do really like the servant lore videos but I would prefer the gameplay come first and then the story
He is the first Jojo protagonist
We aren't nerds anymore???
Lol so the fate lore is completely off

That's coming in a separate video. This one is specifically about Manannan in mythology. He said this in the first 10 seconds.
Not surprise a homestuck fan couldn't watch the video more than 10 seconds
