Hey everyone, Andy here and welcome to House of the Dead. It's my favourite childhood game. It's horrific but absolutely amazing. SEGA actually did a good job in making this game. So here, me and my brother are playing this game together. Orange crosshair is me and blue crosshair is my brother. I did take a damage but no death/no continue. I was playing this with my broken mouse. It was so frustrating that it doesn't shoot properly. Took me a lot of attempts to play and make this video. Thanks for watching!

After nearly 8 or 9 years ago I played this game and i can still remember this masterpiece name this game used to be soo hard or i was a bot 😅 but this game has my memories when i used to play this with my brother and friends but now i want that enjoyment with my bros but everyone is busy in them self 😢😢

i felt like the coolest man on earth for having such a game on my computer
I finally found it!! I used to play this game in our pc when I was a kid along with Zuma and O2 jam! This was my favorite out of them all. I used to think the graphics were great back then but seeing it now in 2023 made me realize how pc games have improved tremendously over the years. This game brings me so much nostalgia.

When I first played as a kid back in 2001 Chariot scared me his giant blooded axe that slashed Sophie, his red-blooded weak spot on the chest, his creepy movement pattern, his creepy sounds when hit , him shedding his armor to reveal exposed flesh and crawling nerves still attacking, truly felt like a scary zombie boss. Never found Magician scary, he was more like a cool robot than a scary zombie boss like Chariot!
True man, Chariot does look pretty scary, but Magician freaked me out, not because of how he looks, but his fast attacks were scary and difficult to dodge. And in HOD 2, the chainsaw guy was freaking nuts, Magician wasn't scary there lol.
@@AndyTandy Yeah well Magician was definitely strong and fast and he was the toughest, but Chariot gave the scary you know paranormal kind of scary vibe while Magican was more sci-fi vibe.
@@AndyTandy Eitherways Chariot, Hangedman and Magician were all iconic bosses of this iconic game, Hangedman's bat-like appearance and nobody leaves here alive line is iconic too. Hermit had the weakest boss design just a giant spider. But the other three were all awesome :)

This game used to scare the shit out of me when I was a kid. There was an arcade machine of this at the department store that I used to go and I watched someone playing this from far away. Good ol' memories.
I was the youngest among my cousins, so they don't let me play in multiplayer. Hence, I never crossed beyond that flying thing when I was young as a single player 😂

One of my favourite pc games of my childhood and whenever i played this game in my childhood i feel next level feeling and satisfaction after completing all the levels and i really got scared when i am newly playing this game and after seeing this video after so many years i really feel and missing those days

I have played this game 1000s of time as a child
Broooooooo it brings back so much memories, me and my big brother used to play it when we ware little, we had a low end PC back then but it worked anyways, we used to argue with who will use the mouse, but I always had to use the keyboard, we never got to beat the game because we ware little and had skill issues, now it's time to beat it (also after a blasted power supply change and a mother board change the old low end PC still lives)

the OG house of the dead much scarier than the remake... i guess
The remake is too bright and flashy to be a horror inspired game.
The old model give me a disgusting feeling when the monster is something not a human. With their laggy movement which feel like theyre controlled by a puppet master, the facial never move. Also their eye is wide open and pull inside out make it more terrify than those mediocre zombie in the remake. The cruded motion of the original make me feel like theyre not human or at least was human, its something else blasphemous and didnt belong to this world. For example old chariot is moving like he have a hard time balancing himself in a body he didnt familiar with. While in the remake his movement feel too edgy and acting.

How did you get the zombie ending, you played well?
I guess by killing bosses and zombies faster, you can get that ending.

@@AndyTandy you get that ending by beating the game without a continue, but also scoring less than 64000 points. If you get over 64k you get the good ending which is Sophie being alive thanking you.

It's not really impossible, definitely possible if you have a good reaction time and lots of attempts from practice. If you still find it hard, play with auto reload.

yes i wanted to play on servers. i used to play on lifeboat but after updating minecraft, it requires sign in on xbox, i dont have an account on xbox. thats the problem why i cant play on servers :(
