I have two old Tarte Rainforest of the Sea palettes I was going to declutter. I noticed they were made in Italy so tried them again. They are better than anything in my collection, including ND, Pat McGrath, Tom Ford etc. Now I feel like I’m not buying anything that isn’t formulated in Italy.
I didn’t even know about this palette launch. lol. I have to say I like Tartes shadow formulas. They are consistent, look good on my hooded and aged eyes. I love eyeshadow, a lot….like I have 100s of palettes. But they are still one of my favorites for more basic, work friendly looks. I like that they are softer with color pay off from many of the indie brands I love. When I want drama I go for more pigment. When I want softer, easier, quick looks I do often grab for my Tarte palettes. I feel like I will be grabbing this one, although prefer to not get a bundle so will wait for it to launch (hopefully) on other sites soon. Thanks for the review!

I think you came out with 3 beautiful eye looks. This is very influential. Makes me want to get the tarte palette, but not as much as ensley reigns, which I'm saving up for now. Thanks for lovely eye looks. They get me inspired to play with more makeup! Love it ❤❤

🤞🏻 I hope it comes to Australia! 🤞🏻 There was a Fairy Love and Lust palette they made that I LOVED! It was a round and full of dust pinks and purples… I hit pan on every shade and complete used up most of them. Have a good night! 💕
@@SarahTones85Definitely the first big Maneater palette, but you might also be interested in the Tartelette Energy, Tartelette Spark and Tartelette Jewel . I also really love the palette set I got for last holidays which has 3 mini and 1 face palette. Definitely check some reviews to see if you like the colours but I definitely love those @SarahTones85
Tarte updated their formula several years ago. They have multiple shimmer options. I assume what you have is representative... I notice releases like the bigger Maneater palettes, Tartelette and the smaller 8 pans seem to usually have more of the high impact shimmers and sparkles whereas they also still release other special releases with mainly subtle shimmers. You can usually tell from the swatch pictures and of course reviews

I agree that Tarte and Too Faced was my wheelhouse in my makeup collection before the discovery of Indie eyeshadow. I have kept all mine I have brought over the years and the formula is still so nice just not as sparkly.

I know! I’m not the best at swatches 🫣 There’s a mixture of satins, sparkles, and metallics. Some shifts but no true multichromes. ❤️
