Thanks for bringing up the Odens Eye quality issues, especially as palettes “age.” The Jewels and Gems palette was my favorite in my collection, but now the shimmers have dried out so much that it is unusable. None of my other palettes brands have this issue!! I love the original Hela palette, and it has been fine despite being older than Jewels and Gems. Clearly the formula has changed :( I no longer purchase from the brand due to this experience.

I am so sorry you have to keep saying to creepy people asking for your palettes, ones friends and family don't take of mine i donate to a youtuber who makes them into paints. its awesome to see. your collection is beautiful! i am getting into smaller palettes myself so i understand, duochromes and multi chromes are my weakness too!

You should be harsher for the next declutter. Maybe try to get down to 300 or less palettes.

I know exactly how you feel about your Patrick Ta Palettes - I've had one of mine a little over a year and one a little less than one year and when I checked them a few months ago after hearing about the mold issue - BOTH Major Dimensions I and II had mold in a few of the pans. I was so so BUMMED out - $140 that I could have spent elsewhere and had palettes that last. I ABSOLUTELY refuse to buy anything from PATRICK TA ever again. How can you pose as a luxury brand and give us such junk?

The owners of Nomad have been absolute gems to work with. They are definitely doing a lot right and that is the main reason I try to get all of their palettes. I love BlendBunny but am a bit burned out on the releases. Maggie is awesome and I like to support her brand, and I have all of the releases except Ellis and the most recent one with the magnetic palettes.

I love this idea of Throwback Thursday! Good palettes get forgotten with all the new so I love seeing new content with old favorites!!

Klarity has shimmers that literally turn back to powder and can be poured out and they have pretty bad customer service. I stopped purchasing and it kills me because their color stories are so gorgeous.

DONT use that Patrick Ta palette! That is mold. You cannot get rid of it by just scraping. I was a pediatric ICU nurse for many years, and I am also an artist. After retiring from nursing, my good friend and I were working from my studio at home and had just bought some very expensive paste to use in our artwork. It was water soluble, so we could use our fingers and just rub it on our artwork.Well, a few weeks later, we looked in our jars, and found mold. It comes from using your fingers. No matter how clean they are, if you dip your finger in your eyeshadows, this is a risk.

Everyone’s makeup collection is a personal choice💜 I have a very large blush collection and decent sized eye shadow collection-I am not a Content Creator and I know people would think it’s too large but it makes me happy 💃🏿 I am not surprised you are not decluttering any Cosmic Beauty palettes! This brand shows you can create stunning makeup for economical prices! I loove Adept and the Heather Austin and Minka are two of my favorites. I also love their older cheek palette trios and the new one this year. Ha! Same about The Sea Horse palette! I bought it when it released (and got several compliments on my eye looks) but I was like “d’oh!” when I saw it go on sale several times lol. I wished I got the UE Spaced Out palette. I wish the Nomad Keys Beachy and Peachy palette was two separate ones. I would have bought the left side with the greens, oranges and yellows. The Ghost Town, Whistler Snow Lodge and Hudson Valley are my favorite Nomad palettes in my collection. I wish Oden’s Eye would bring back the Angelika Hela palette. I would break my no buy and get it lol. I hope Rosy Jingle and Silvery Bliss are available next year so I can buy them after my no buy. I am excited to try my Fantasy Cosmetica Fighter and the Druid palettes I bought during Black Friday. I have a few Lethal palettes I want to get. I am so happy that you are on Gourmande Girls’ PR list! You should be on so many more since your eye looks convince me to buy palettes that I end up LOVING. I hope Simply Posh has a color story that speaks to me. I want to try this brand so badly! I am so glad I picked up the Moonshroom palette-it is so beautiful. I loooved this video! The mini Zenon is a great companion to the Midi Zenon. I didn't get the hype until I finally got the hype. 🤣 I love both of them now and usually use them together. Spend a few days with it and see if it just clicks. That's what happened to me LOL. Kinky Sweat (i think that's her name) did a video on it as well if you ever want more inspo for the color story.

Klarity- I don't have any palettes left. I decluttered them all and don't buy them anymore. Pat McGrath and Star Wars- A lot of people were mad, but I bought it and the smaller palettes LOL. Then I just gave my original Midnight Sun to someone who really wanted it. I got into collecting Pat so I have all her palettes from Minis to quads, to 5 and 6 pans, to the motherships. Necessary? No. But they make me happy. 🤣

This has been a dream to watch. Such pretty pretty stunning palettes! I had a hard time saying no this year too. 😂 I can't wait to see part 2. So far we have almost all the same palettes. I love it!

Klarity has a known issue with formula issues, esp with the shimmers! Their mattes are also notoriously dry. I have the og mermaizing & every single shimmer needed to be fixed. I noticed you decluttered the bb ellis palette but you didn't show it or talk about it in the vid. Is it a formula thing? 👀

Glaminatrix has a stellar formula for sure. I stopped purchasing though. The pan sizes got smaller but the price tag went higher and then you add on $20+ for shipping and to me it's just not worth it. But I'll hold on to the ones I have left forever LOL.

I keep my sleeves for Lethal Cosmetics because that's where the names are. Because they sell singles and BYOP with any of their palettes, they don't put the names directly on the palettes. At first, I wasn't excited about it, but now I appreciate it. And it makes sense. Kind of above any other brands with magnetic options. The more you know... 😂

I would judge the 60+ highlighters left (not really lol) but i just pulled out all mine and I have.... ready?.... 119 highlighters!!! Not including duos and face palettes. So I'm judging myself... hard! 😂😂😂 They are just so pretty and each Highlighter is justifiably different. 😂😂 I'm getting ready to declutter and if i could get down in the I'd be ecstatic. This really was a great declutter though. You did an amazing job and i loved hearing your thoughts. And even though you still have a lot (like a lot of us) you really know your highlighters. You know them and understand each ones benefit to your collection. To me, that is more important than the numbers. You use your collection, you know your collection, and it makes you happy. That's the point. Fantastic video! I'm on my 3rd Essence pure nude and I need to just give it up. I do not understand the hype at all. I keep trying it thinking something is wrong with me, but it's just not special at all. 😂 So no more for me either. 😂

I had over 500 but this year I had to be uber critical to declutter 200+. It killed me but I’m OCD and I have to wear every palette and I couldn’t go back to ones I loved because I had so many. Stopped purchasing everything from the brands I love and comparing to ones I have before making a purchase. I really want to narrow it down further.

Is so agree with you about blend bunny. I am not purchasing from them right now. I want more curated color stories. I have 3 from them and that enough for now.
