I remember back when this game was brand-new (close to the SNES's initial launch). It blew me away. I'd never heard such symphonic music in a video game. Not even close.

ActRaiser but also the music of games like Super Castlevania IV (my favourite SNES music score), Axelay, Super Turrican, Contra III, Super Metroid, Revenge of Shinobi, Streets of Rage, Killer Instinct, Flashback, Donkey Kong, Final Fantasy 6 (3 in the US), etc blew me away on 16 Bit consoles. @@stoozdee Wow. This song really does sound like Final Fantasy IV a lot more than VI, however. This reminds me of the Red Wings theme which was one of the most important music pieces in that game.
