- We bought a time capsule 2010 Nissan 370z with only 2800 miles at Copart auction non running. We don't understand why the original owner would keep this car for so long then just donate it to charity auction? We noticed some odd modifications as well. Can we fix it for cheap? Will it run for the first time in 10 years? I also bought some other cheap cars at this Copart sale. A cheap clean title Mercedes for $1000 and another motorcycle for only $200! the old yammy's are great bikes. i have had a xj750 and 900 back in the day, both were reliable solid bikes with a shaft drives. carbs are worth more than what you paid for it

Having worked at auction and bought cars out of auction for resale. Buying the bargains at auction is not what it seems.
Look under the passenger side intake pipe this car seems to have a turbo kit!
what happen to the boxer LS swap project? I haven't been able to find anything after the engine was delivered. My son is super into Porsches and has been asking me to watch any update on it.
OK so on the Yamaha it's not getting it started that is going to kill you it's if the starter motor is bad it's going to hurt your pocket a replacement starter for most Yamaha bikes are anywhere from $700 up to as high as $900 my huge recommendation Because that bike has been sitting for so long I would get a horoscope camera out and literally look down the cylinders before you try to start it if the cylinders look good and it's just a bad starter then I would recommend replacing the starter If the cylinders look like absolute dog garbage then definitely don't bother because most likely it will need a complete rebuild

I think its time you get two more Bend pack lifts. Hoovies garage has the 3 wide ones that holds 6 cars each. Get two of them and put them on the back wall of your hanger. Room for 6 more cars in the hanger. Would love to see a video of the hanger getting organized. (I'm weird, I would watch it)
The 370Z is generally a very reliable car with that 6 cylinder that is used in several other models. The power top probably doesn't work. But if it hasn't been blown up or ran dry with fluids it should be a great find. Good luck guyz!

Get the Z06 and supercharge it asap. Don't turbo it, it'll shock the transmission too much. Wait until the aftermarket develops a built trans for it.

2900 MILES!?!? Insane find as a fellow VQ owner before you start driving it hard change to oil and check it for any sparkles / abnormalities and change it again after 300 miles, I wouldn’t be surprised if the oil and filter hasn’t been touched since 2010. Don’t want another Oil burning VQ

Look in the engine bay, there’s a set of charge pipes under the intake pipes. Also looks like the pcv and other vac tubing has been modified.

The info screen is in ever 370z I’m pretty sure. I have it in my 2009 base model 370z. I thought I got a good deal with 72000 and a pretty good amount of damage 😢😂

I hope it's a happy background story. I fear it's a car that a boy or girl got brand new and soon after passed away. Parents held onto the car because fear of letting go and maybe donated it to their church.....explains the mods and low milage
My dad had a 1997 E320 if the car that made me fall in love with inline sixes we ended up getting rid of it at 250,000, mi because we let it sit for too long in the computer corroded try to replace the computer and didn't realize that the ignition is tagged along with the engine control module already threw away the old computer so there was no way of fixing it for a good price

that mercedes w210 is last reliable model of E class( i don't know about engine but i know that 2.0 and 2.4 are most reliable engines in that car)
The m104 e320 is super reliable. I also bought one from az for 800

I have a very sad theory about the 370z. Some kid or their parents may have bought it and the kid started modifying it but then passed away before they could drive it a lot or modify it more and their parents kept it for a while in remembrance but then ended up donating it.
another thing could be that the owner tuned it and blew it up.
