the pronounced belt loop fade is from yarn actually fed into the folds of the fabric when the belt loop tape construction takes place. pretty cool detail that a lot of brands just don't do. it apparently helps strengthen the beltloops as well (back in the day when denim was much lighter weight)

To many brand to choice from SAMURAI, ONI DENIM, Pure Blue Japan, TANUKI, STUDIO D'ARTISAN. With close to 300 dollar or more I can just buy them all. Maybe do some comparisons on some of these brands.

If I’m not mistaken, the lettering inside the rivets stands for SA MU RAI. I would double check anyway just in case I’m indeed mistaken.

Yes, all sellers have to fill in a custom declaration, so import duties have to be paid
