2024 Trail Cam Videos Vol 1 (January to May)

This video shows animal activity near my home starting with the cold of winter in January to the greening of everything in spring through May 2024. Mostly the clips are of birds, coyotes, deer, opossums and raccoons in winter, with more animals becoming active when it warms up, like beavers, herons, mink, turtles and more types of birds. There are four small beaver dams along the creek that runs through my property. Only a couple of those get a lot of animals stopping to get a drink or using the dams as a bridge to cross the creek without having to swim.
Many consider beavers a nuisance, but their dams create ecosystems that benefit wildlife and provide water sources when everything would normally dry up between rains in the heat of summer. As long as there are plenty of trees they can use for food and dam construction and if adjacent crop fields aren't affected, they can do a lot of good for the environment.

I’m glad you like them. I know they’re probably too long for most peoples’ tastes, but I just like seeing the animals living their lives and the sometimes unexpected things they do.
