When he basically drinks gasoline and he let's out smoke from his mouth, then spits fire too. Love how he intimidated Ken Lo by breaking those wood crates with his punches. "You really want these hands!?" He's basically saying. When he crawls through the coals has to be the worst stunt he's ever done.
Bro, If you go and rewatch the Naruto scene of Rock Lee vs Kimimaro, Rock Lee is doing a lot of these moves straight from this scene that Jackie does, Pure elegance.
I highly doubt any japanese person is watching Hong Kong action films, let alone anime writers. they make Chinese martial artists look bad in every anime
I watched this movie back in the 2000s with my childhood friend and we always loved the amazing choreography. Jackie's movements as the drunken style fighter are incredible and the uniqueness of it makes the film stand apart from all other kung fu action films.
I know your main thing is doing breakdowns for DB fights, but the natural flow you got describing this makes me feels like you should take on more breakdowns on other Kung-Fu films! In your own words, this was E X C E L L E N C E !
Still my favorite and greatest fight scene i ever seen in anything. Ken lo became my favorite martial arts movie villain after i 1st seen this. As a kid i always tried to do those kicks and be flexible doing leg stretching and training. Ken lo looked like one of those never judge a book by its cover type of characters in this film. the way he way dressed, his glasses, he looked like a smart guy or something. but then you see this scene he destroying jackie and you like oh snap he actually crazy with it. After this film I'd always noticed ken lo in other martial arts films, i just couldn't forget his style, then i remember him in rush hour as the guy that sneak kicked chris tucker. Most of the time he would always just be a fodder guy or something. But you can see he better than that here in this fight. But regardless Crazy fight by Jackie and ken lo here just cant praise it enough and how inspirational this scene is.
bro you explained the last fight scene to me that i completely missed.. i was a kid and never noticed all forms this takes it to another level! thanks alot man the commentary is hilarious and thanks to a DBZ one i saw i decided to check your channel then saw this movie. Good stuff
Bro they fact that Jackie's momma in this film is practically younger than him killed me. Oh and that OG that died after fighting the entire gang 2 V 70 minimum, crazy.
Dude, when i accidentaly rented thhis ffrom block buster at 12 or 13, neither I nor my parents and siblings could possibly imagine the whirling emulation of Jackie Chan, Drunken Master infused with the wild eyed and infinite exhuberance of adolescence. Its good to know that the winds of inspiration from those halcyon days can be seen in the cherished mullings over that you presented here. I literally had to have watched that movie 50 effing times.
Love these breakdowns man, friggin awesome!.. haha need to do The fight between Jackie and Jet li in The Forbidden Kingdom! Shit was wild first and only time seeing them two go at it.. was dope as fuh.
Your fight analysis videos are AMAZING! I love how you analyze every single scene, not just some parts. You actually name all the motions and everything! Please do a video of when Jackie Chan used the ladder to fight!
These breakdowns are 🔥🔥🔥 heavy cosign on the dbz dead zone fight choreography too. I'd love to see a breakdown of jackie chan vs benny the jet - wheels on meals, jet li vs chin siu ho - fist of legends, donnie yen vs 10 karate black belts - ip man. Good shit, man. Subbed 🙌
I bought the DVD for $5 mainly for this fight scene. From the time Jackie entered the mine til the time he passed out was martial art cinema magic 👌🏾🔥. The movie as a whole was pretty damn good too, and had many more amazing fights.
I never knew I missed so much in this fight. This in incredible. Using the foot to hook the blocking arm? Ken Lo even did the technique correctly. Nuts choreography, no one's gonna see that. Def one of the top fights of all time.
It’s funny you upload a Jackie Chan fight analysis, I just watched my first ever Jackie Chan movie, Drunken Master (1978?). That one was fire, maybe I’ll watch this one next.
Naw keep this up bruv I didn't know you did live action also, although you don't you had a particular reason, but Ayo you did the research, you put in the time... And it came out excellent, better yet superb. Anyway I shared ya channel with two discord servers already I'm locked in l. I hope you gain more subscribers
Bro you gotta breakdown the goku vs cell fight in the cell game, shit was the best technical fight or in all of Z in my opinion. It was really felt two martial artists going at it with the dragon ball flavour. Or breakdown some og dragon ball fights.
What was insane was that no special effects or vfx had been used, in the making of you could see that Jackie really got burn by landing into the fire, he's mouth also caught fire for that final scene when he spits out the alcohol, he took the red hot burning bar in the face and broke several bones by falling or taking real hits during fight scenes, you will see that after almost every scenes, a firefighter or medic team jumps on the set to help an injured or burning actor
Bro these are the most exciting videos I've seen in a long time. Subbed. You gotta do that Jackie Chan vs Benny the jet from wheels on meals man that's another fantastic live action fight
bro I love your channel man.. please make more videos because you make my day with all the excellence 🙏 please make more Jackie Chan /Tony jaa /Bruce Lee etc videos as well 🙏anyways I got mad respect for you hommie

Okay so I'm a old head. 42 here. Been watching Kung Fu movies and anime for a long ass time and I'm loving your videos. Thank you for breaking everything down. Can we please get the Jackie chan Vs Donnie yen fight from the twin effects 2!?
When you're a ballerina that knows taekwondo then you're officially a menace to society.
Ken lo was a bodyguard. he'll kick somebody's ass in real life too
@@destroyallfurries yeah, he was Jackie's bodyguard
Definitely my favorite fight scene. Fun fact Ken Lo was hired by Jackie Chan to be his personal Bodyguard.
Really? That's soo wild
Having Ken Lo as a bodyguard is a flex within itself. Especially after seeing his performance in drunken master.
Damn.
Drunk angry Jackie was wild af.
When he basically drinks gasoline and he let's out smoke from his mouth, then spits fire too. Love how he intimidated Ken Lo by breaking those wood crates with his punches. Lee is pure elegance and pure shtf when that gate of closing opens.
Ken Lo is truly terrifying as a final boss his stance, style, and drip was unmatched.

The marathon has ended 😭 thanks for the journey and lesson on DB history! Appreciate the uncontrollable laughter and joy in all your content.
😭😭I’m not done with dragon ball trust me but this funny

Jackie's press was wild, but when you pointed it out I was on the floor dying bro😂😂

This is not a video game it’s real life keep that junk out of real life.
Truth 😂😂
@Peenuttbutter Bait used to be believable
The amount of effort that went into this scene is ridiculous. Still the GOAT after all these years.
Your fight analysis videos are AMAZING! I love how you analyze every single scene, not just some parts. You actually name all the motions and everything! Please do a video of when Jackie Chan used the ladder to fight!
Great vid bro this one of my favorite fights ever put on screen
I love this fight scene. It lives rent free in my head. Great commentary bra

Mad breakdown, dude! I actually appreciate this scene 1000% more now --- and I loved it to begin with! :)
Jackie is underrated people seem to think he can't fight irl, but he was in martial art tournaments before he was an actor.
Simply entertaining! 😂😂
Keep it up with Dragon Ball and other jackie Chan Movies pls! 🙏
Love the work my guy, keep up the good work
I bought the DVD for $5 mainly for this fight scene. From the time Jackie entered the mine til the time he passed out was martial art cinema magic 👌🏾🔥. The movie as a whole was pretty damn good too, and had many more amazing fights.

“Throw up gang signs in his face” might be the funniest thing from the whole video
15:29 IS THE COLDEST COMBO
Such a fantastic fight. Drunken style is a badass fighting style 😁👊🏿👊🏿
13:38 for Jackie to plagiarize , it shows he was fed up with that move, he had to let Ken Lo have a taste of how it felt 🤣
I never knew I missed so much in this fight. This in incredible. Using the foot to hook the blocking arm? Ken Lo even did the technique correctly. Nuts choreography, no one's gonna see that. Def one of the top fights of all time.

Yo, if Vegito is doing Gogeta like Ken Lo to Jackie. Then you know Gogeta hitting Vegito with that elegance, and beating his ass.
