I miss Huddersfield in the prem went there 2 years ago in the cowshed and genuinely was one of the best atmospheres I've seen in the league. Hopefully they stay up and the Cowleys sort them in the summer

I went to the John Smith’s stadium once and the atmosphere was electric. Food banging as well. Very unsurprising, congrats Huddersfield.

Imo atmosphere is better this year than when we got promoted, a lot of relegated teams lose support etc. but we seem to have kept it. Hopefully the squad performs to the expceted level

Twitter jxmes123 would be great if he went to that match but I don’t think us and Sunderland are rivals. Our fans chatted shit to each other on Twitter and some fans had scraps out side the grounds. There will definitely be some animosity but it will be more for atmosphere than anything else. Would be brilliant if smiv went but I don’t think he will while we’re ground-sharing.😕
As a Londoner and a Town fan for over 50 years, I reckon you're spot on with this one - and bear in mind that that atmosphere was for a team that had just dropped out of the Prem into the lower reaches of the Championship. The local vibe is more 'Last of the Summer Wine' (filmed around Holmfirth, so 6 miles away) than 'Emmerdale' (North Yorkshire - another world).
