What beautiful harmonizing to a timeless song! Harry Chapin has always been a favorite of mine both as a singer and a songwriter. This rendition of a song for all ages done by his family--thanks for posting it!
I saw the Chapin Family at the Ovens in 2006 it was a wonderful day, I got to meet Tom, Stephen and Big John, having met Harry back in the 80's we shared a few moments. There has never been a artist like Harry since.
This is amazing. I must meet this family one day. I listen to Harry every day and every night. I know every song of his and every live performance word for word, even his little quips and side jokes. "I'd figured that would get you" from Get On With It is my favourite. Such a talented family
Just found this gem and absolutely love it! Harry's music has always been my favorite, so real, so different and much harder to perform than the average. Thanks!
As his life became shorter, his life and music became more purposeful. We know that he became more intensely involved with world hunger. He so articularlly spent a significant amount of time in his concerts notifying his audience of the world hunger problem. He read off alarming stats from the top of his head about poor starving people. He raised our awareness and we all made an effort to get more involved after the concert. I wish that politicians and celebs would do a better job at reflecting his sentiments of the world hunger problem.

Great to see the next generation on the stage at such a young age...was at this show a few years ago and wish I could go every year.

Is that Big John? Outstanding!
Big John!!!
! ! ! ! !
Are they his nieces? where was this at?
Those are Tom's daughters Abigail and Lily, which makes them Harry and Steve's nieces.
@ValsHere Miles looks a little like Harry.
I thought the same thing too.
Is that Steve Chapin on the keyboards?
I believe it is.
@@larrywax3638 That's Steve on Keyboard & Tom on Guitar & big Jon on Bass. Harry lives on!!!!
