Today was the final run towards the last Hotel on the Tour, and I jumped in with Shaun in his nicely modified Suzuki Swift Sport. With standard power and set up for handling Shaun knew how to wring every last drop of performance from his Swift while maintaining corner speed to still keep up with the pack of M2s and Porsches!
Then it's the return journey home with Pete, and a debrief the following day back at home...

That Swift, some seriously committed and talented driving.
Yeah man, 100% - cutting sighted corners as soon as possible to carry corner speed, winding the speed up before an overtake to sling shot past, proper forward planning and a driving masterclass. 😎👌

I had the same noise in my Swift Sport, that was mentioned, no one could find the problem, ended up being worn steering rack bushes, awesome video by the way,

@@RickTheSpud I’m Glad he did, enjoyed the hell out of me and car dealer ended up getting new stuff installed that didn’t fix the issue so bonus for me in the end, it’s great now, would love to one day, New Zealand here, I gave it good drive on my Xmas holidays, surprisingly fun these cars, love it, lots of hilly windy roads here,

Another great video Rick. Shaun impressed everybody when I did my first trip in 2019. He is a much better driver than me. Love the clip of you and Pete on the way back and both of you seemingly asleep.

Iv mentioned on other videos including this cars and drivers other video how much I love these and will buy one long story short iv ended up with 2.5 x more savings than expected a good 80k now I'm torn between a swift sport 1.6 in mint condition or a rand new I 20 N
Ooo. Well if you've always wanted one then go for a Swift first, run that for a bit and then an i20N. The Swift will prob feel old and slow if you do it the other way round. 😉

the drivers seat has some adjustment in it, or if you want to go lower you need a lowered seat frame from Japan! 👊

We have a Swift sport 2019. I believe it can keep up with any car around the lanes ……. Shame about the straights and you have to be so careful about the horses, cyclists etc They are great little cars ….
Yeah IMO you can't beat a fun little hatchback that you can actually use to it's full potential! Makes you a better driver as well! 👊😎

If you can't confidently and competently drive like this then don't try. This isn't dangerous. Crying over videos of speeding in built up areas, drifting, and burnouts is where you should focus your time...
