They use nano coating for making clothes waterproof. But after you wash the clothes for twice or thrice in washing machine the coating goes away and it becomes normal cloth. I had brought 3-4 items from their website. Fabric quality is good but you can still get good quality fabric normal cloth at lesser price then their price. And I don't think MsD is wearing this company tshirt.
Apparently they use a pre treatment which will go away after a few washes. It depends on how much they spend on the pre treatment process. Some pre treatment goes away in 4-5 washes while some last for 15 to 20 washes.
I’m very anxious about these anti stain or repellent clothes. These usually made by adding or dipping clothes in chemical called PFAS or PFCS (per fluorocarbon) called forever chemicals that won’t break easily. Now my concern is in people’s health, wearing it regularly is it ok? What after a decade of using these products? Secondly, about its recycling or how do we dispose? How the environment get affected by it. looking forward to the responses from the company and people
