Will Nicowillams come to Arsenal
Question: What was the point in Arsene Wenger spending all those transfer windows signing young talent with an eye for the future if once they come of age we sell them all?! The suggestion of selling on ESR and Nketiah - they are the result of our youth system. The reason they haven't become as prolific as we would hope is because our manager never plays them. ESR was fit and healthy for the bulk of last season but our manager saw fit to leave him on the bench! Same with Nketiah, hows he supposed to find form when hes used sparingly or for the last five minutes of games?! You ask me who to sell I'd start with Fabio Viera who like Mesut Ozil has been generally useless. Too slight for our very physical premier league the handful of times Arteta has used him he has been generally ineffective and lacklustre. If we sold him coupled with sales of Tavares and Lokonga, along with academy sales of Biereth and Patino and we should be close to that 100K mark. Also its been suggested that Thomas Partey might be on his merry way as well as Zinchenko.
I would like to see us sign Frenkie DeJong from Barcelona should we sell Thomas Partey. We could make a move for Josh Kimmich and Serge Gnabry from Bayern in return for Zinchenko and Lokonga. Unless he really wants to leave I'd hang on to Kiwior who greatly improved at left back for us last season. Up front I'd think about selling Gabriel Jesus given his inability to stay fit for long periods of time. I'm not sure Gyokeres is the answer either despite his recent prolific season it was achieved in a weaker league. I'd suggest a move for Premier League tested and England international Ollie Watkins. Failing that Alexander Isak, though both talents will prove hard to prise away from their present clubs.
