Wow. In 4 minutes 20 seconds, no dialogue, little facial expressions, and few colors in general an animator is able to sum up the wizard of oz better than I could with an hour.
Your music, since i first heard Alice so so many years ago. Have gotten me through depression in the past. For that. I truly from the bottom of my heart thank you Pogo.
@@PogoMusic It honestly means a lot you responded. Lol. Yeah im better this was in High school. I remeber around when you put out wizard of meh i think. I think this is my favorite Pogo song in part because of the stunning visuals. This animator was told "an important part of character design is a good silhouette" and then that animator RAN with it.
@@fr22d It is "And it's funny", according to the Wizard of Oz's movie transcript. Regardless, their comment is from 2 years ago. Why point our something, if you're wrong either way?
I love how Pogo has like companion/alternate versions of his songs, like he has many ideas for a collection of samples and themes for a song that he’ll make more.
Music is the best thing ever to happen to humanity in my opinion. Music unites people, makes you happy when your sad, helps you through rough times, comforts you and so much more... And Pogo, your music does all that. You are a true artist.
Pogo I love you. I listened to this song for hours and never got tired of it. I wish I could meet you. Your music has changed my life in so many good ways. Thank you so much for being alive and being who you are.
This song put me in a frenzy the second i heard it in the Live at the Engine Room video. A 50 second snippet was all that was needed to know Mellow was gonna be good. You never disappoint Pogo, thanks you for this beautiful song!
Dear pogo, recently I've fell down the hole of your music and it's helped me with so much pain. I'm recovering from a really bad ear infection and all music didn't sound the same. Except yours. I remember the first time I listened to Alice and that would be the start of an obsession. I listened to Wizard of Meh constantly and it made everything better. Thank you for your mesmerizing and other worldly music that has gotten me through bad times. Don't stop doing what you do! :)
From 2:28-2:58 is my favorite part. I was literally dancing to that part alone. The song is amazing and i love the animation in the video. Keep up the great work
I still remember like it was yesterday when you announced that for this song you were holding a music video competition. And I had my fingers crossed for first place to be the stick figure DJ guy who did AMAZING SPOT ON facial expressions every time you used a vocal audio gosh I still wish that one had won!!! 😩😩😩😋 It was such a close tie last minute between that one and this animation 😆☺️
I would really love to see Pogo make a whole album of Wizard of Oz remixes like he did with Alice and Wonderland. Both movies have so many great sounds and melodies. But he's a pretty busy bee now that he's gotten so popular, huh? :)
All the pogo i could find: 0:44 he pops out as soon as the little creatures duck behind the bush 1:25 the fly that flies out of the scarecrows head is actually a pogo. 1:57 you can spot pogo blend in with the snow. 2:25 you can see a pogo head on 1 of the flying monsters if you look quick enough. 2:54 you can see Pogos head pop out of the fight. 3:05 you can see a little toy of pogo on the shelf in the background. 3:56 a pogo distracts toto to make Dorothy jump out of the balloon. Tell me if i missed one!
+Pogo Nick this is so good it sent chills down my body. How did you get into producing? I wish I had the gift of musical perspective that you have; so dope! Keep us guessing! No pressure by the way. (I know this has been out for a while)
Gosh, the nostalgia :,) I first listened to this when I was 10 and I fell in love with pogos style of music. I’m 22 now and the Forgot song is trending on TikTok so if nice that people are seeing his work❤️❤️
I used to listen to all of the Wizard of Oz sequel audiobooks with my Grandfather on the way home from school (on the days that we would pick me up). This stuff really resonates with me and I find it really charming. I miss the old man.
sweet, I like it :) I did my own "yellow brick road" - Version (yellow brick road - Dunn Gyllite) and have to admit, this one here is top notch. Musically it does not really break new (Pogo-)frontiers - this sounds like quite a few other Pogo-tracks (which all of them I like, don't get me wrong) - but the animation is really what makes this clip special. Big kudos and much respect to the artist.
Whenever i listen to this i start picturing my past, with my 17 year old cousin named Dominick who is now a soccer player, when i was 4 i would always play hide and seek with him, *skips 2 years later* we both also were making our own little forts while listening to his favourite songs (He loved kids cartoon trap remixes and Rave Boy, from what i remember) and while watching cartoon network at our grandma's house, my childhood was lovely
Who ever made this storyboard / animation is very creative! i mean everything from the song fits so smoothly with it. I give 10/10 for animation and 10/10 for the remix/mash up :P
I had no doubt this was going to be the winner, but I'm damn glad it is. I haven't been able to keep away from this vid since it was shown in the top five.

Wow. In 4 minutes 20 seconds, no dialogue, little facial expressions, and few colors in general an animator is able to sum up the wizard of oz better than I could with an hour.
Was thinking the same thing dude :)
It helps that the music is so amazing. Also, there is one character with facial expressions, and that's the wizard of Oz
+stave A picture says a 1000 words, 24 pictures per sec, 4 minutes and 19 secs in the vid, you do the maths

Now do this for the book, then the other 13 books. that'd legitimately be amazing.

We started with tribal drum music, and now have gotten to the point of EDM and fan producer type of music....
Wow. It’s got all the charm of a mid 2000s flash animation. Simple, yet Brilliant.
I love this one so much! (I'm actually playing Dorothy in a play) And I'm showing this to them today at practice! ;)

Why have I only discovered this now?? This beat is timeless, I would have loved as much then as I do now ❤
I will always love your music Pogo. I think its something that manages to do something great with whats already there.
Seriously underrated track. Amazingly housey
Wow. I've had this in my playlist for months but never actually saw it with visuals. What a great animation.

It's happening pogo!!!!! Long wait but everyone loves you❤️
Hearing a new music from Pogo is like an amazing discovery, I always feel something different for every song he made.
