Nice play through but would have been nicer seeing your keyboard playing friend cycling through the instruments using the controller and how he found using it as a means to find and control instruments within the DAW. Also how is it to use with Native Instruments libraries? I have a lot of stuff in Kontakt and it would be great to see how the implementation with Kontakt the Keylab Essential Mk3 is. Thanks for the video.
Glad you liked it! From a DAW standpoint it's easy to navigate between tracks, not too sure if you can have that kind of functionality within a Kontakt library.
@@CompassBoxStudio Thanks for the input. Wondering how controller mapping with NI vsts is. I like the sound management of NI but pity their controllers lack faders and 8 touch pads which is great for scene selection and instrument key switching.
Thanks for your reply. I downloaded Ableton Live 11 Lite that came with the keyboard from Arturia’s website. For reference, I have the KeyLab Essential mk3 61-key Keyboard and am using it on an Apple MacBook Pro.
Look at a Hammond B3 and you will figure out that the 9 faders make a lot of sense 😊
glad to see such high quality videos!
:)
Thank you for the insight
