All the cell phones I've ever used say "911 calls only" when I take out the SIM. Doesn't this mean that the phone is traceable, even without a SIM, since it is still connecting to the same towers and leaving a fingerprint?
Going back to the 90's, with proprietary CDMA phones, that you had to change the phone, everytime you changed to cellular provider. That's what 'electronic SIM' means to me.

It would be actually pretty easy to make a professional phone network over the internet. The software is already there, but of course, somebody has to start it and many people have to support it.
@@ElaineGarcia-uo8qj Nobody can. But I remember a time, when people had CB stations all over the world and news made the world race before governments could avoid them. We have to consider also this option.

Thanks, Rob, for all the knowledge you offer. Whew! It seems overwhelming, which is likely a feature, rather than a bug! I'm really going to have to dig into this... i don't have internet availability at home. I use my phone for almost all connections. Rarely will i tether a computer to it to process some functions on sites where a mobile interface is a no-go. I'll have to develop a structure on paper and see how many devices and of what type and when/how to use them... aaaaaarrrrgh!
When watching Rob's videos (as I have for quite a few years), I often think of the famous quote in the movie "MOZART" when Austrian Emperor Joseph II comments on a recent score that Mozart has composed: "Too many notes." I'm overwhelmed by Rob's comprehensive explanations and information. I would wish that Rob would employ more examples of everyday life of most users. (For example), it's now becoming more and more common for restaurants ask visitors to give them a (cellphone) number by which the visitor can be notified by text that her table is ready. I am befuddled by Robs extensive explanations to be able to decide what one or two solutions would likely be the simplest one that satisfies my needs for being notified in such circumstances. Many if not most restaurants and bars in urban and suburban locations have public wifi, but many, also, don't. One more thing to recommend to Rob, I strongly recommend the use of graphics, especially diagrams, to distinguish one solution from another, or one problem from several others. Otherwise, Thank you, Rob, for your dedication to teach and give the public options. So appreciated.

Only to the towers you could still get a internet connection via any Wi-Fi because that's just a separate antenna system searching for Wi-Fi signal so if you don't have a SIM card you won't get a direct internet connection like a data and you won't be able to make/receive incoming and outgoing calls

The cell site network can triangulate your location a lot more accurately than "a mile or less". Because sometimes cell sites are themselves located within "a mile or less" and they need to handover calls from a moving phone to each other. Their actual accuracy for triangulating phones depends on how dense the network radio hardware happens to be. In some places, they can triangulate a phone within just a few yards. If you live in a remote or rural area then "a mile or less" is probably still good enough to find you. If you live in a developed urban area then "within a few yards" is probably still good enough to find you.
I disagree. A phone can self triangulate against towers and get a fairly accurate position. In fact we do that on BraxOS. In our case we use all towers regardless of carrier. But a particular carrier's towers do not have enough data to return a GPS position. Wifi triangulation is used for that. Obviously you can be tracked to a short distance like 1/4 mile in a large Stadium or Times Square but there will also be thousands of people next to you. In theory the next gen mm-Wave tech will solve this.

Hi Rob, I have a question… how safe are those phone codes that you see that provide certain information about your phone/connection…e.g. *#67#. Can these codes be used for nefarious purposes?
Most of us are just like you. If cell phones were being used a few years before WW2, I am certain there were many people that would have erroneously, believed the same thing, until it would have been too late. Now, I do not expect such a thing to happen to us, but neither did they. It is not something to lose sleep over, but a worthy thought exercise. Outside of that hypothetical, as time goes on, and AI gets better, we will probably want to also use this advice, just to limit, as much as possible, allowing our perception and behavior from being nudged in subtle ways, that we would not really even notice.
I only do legal activity. Doesn't mean I need to be watched and profiled. Nowadays, what opinions you have leads to manipulation. In the new world of AI, you will subtley be guided ...

I TRAVEL constantly through many carrier service areas that requires me to change SIMs frequently. I would like to know can the "virtual" SIM in use be swapped in & out of use numerous times. Thanks.
There is no virtual SIM. Our service is in the cloud. it is always active. It can forward to another line or email or you can use some app. The phone number will be fixed for you regardless of SIM
An eSIM (embedded SIM) card works similarly to a traditional SIM card, but it is embedded directly into the device rather than being a removable piece of hardware. Here's a breakdown of how eSIM technology works, including its reliance on internet protocols: Embedded Nature: Hardware Integration: eSIMs are built into the device's motherboard, meaning they cannot be physically removed or swapped like traditional SIM cards.
Can't one pay a cloud to run a server there that would implement a "telephone station" and, if the users connect to it via VPN it'll be hard for others to see who's talking to whom? Maybe it could even be setup to only accept connections from the VPN...
As I said in the video, a targeted individual cannot hide using these methods. This is for the average person interested in keeping their data away from mass surveillance.
What i noticed and if you look at court cases since 5g mandate, is alot of crime rings including sex crimes are getting busted out left and right easily. Courts are redacted alot of the evidence due to how they obtained evidence. Even people using telegram and other communication apps are bugged and setup. But still don't like my privacy violated the way they have done the last few years. Alot of innocent people are tied into these new mass surveillance tactics.
Missing persons (silver/amber alerts) are found easily and quickly. Well the ones tied to mobile phones and online activities. Look at all the criminals that have comitted crimes but been tracked down soon. Its not that are law enforcement became psychic mind readers.
Sounds good … what about people from outside the US? Can they still able to register for your Brax phone? How about making international call? Again… even without SIM card.. but when you use the internet… it is still traceable

If I have phone without sim using sip client and I want to call my mom with a phone with sim but through her sip app would it be private or a dell laptop with wwan card with sim which is data only and sip client
What I don't like with current smartphone is the ability of apps and even web site to send USSD command like purchasing services ex. ring tone membership, horoscope, or some news membership.
I really wish I can block or delete or rooting the phone to remove the USSD command.
I also hate the carrier ability to PUSH SMS class Zero, and USSD push, that show some message with some button (if accidently press) will make us buying something ex. ring tone, horoscope, news.
If you root the phone you can delete the app. At least that is what I come to learn. I'm going to root my tablet over the summer to install apps, if all goes well I will also root my phone... mostly to remove facebook. I hate Mark Zuckerberg and his nerdy cyber-bullying.
@@ElaineGarcia-uo8qj
You don't need to root to delete facebook.
Just open the developer mode, and do ADB.
But I can't find any resource on the web on what to delete to remove the USSD capability.
I have my official phone and then I have a second no-sim phone. I have two Google voice. Not sure how that happened but they both work. Just so I have wireless internet and vpn!
Why you have phone with sim? Maybe take it out...put it aside for now. Now test it out...if you like how it works, then leave it like that.
Throw the sim in the ol" junk drawer. Other than that...well you know
(But I'd personally never ever put a sim back in a phone. Shuddering)
They did say it was an "official" phone - so maybe it is one they need to have for their work, & provided to them by their employer - in which case it probably won't be easy to get rid of either the phone handset, or the SIM card it contains - which may be the property of the employer.
@@janburn007 maybe so. Im my job we have to work in person and although we use tech it's a desktop computer. We even have to save our stuff on flash drive.

Hi Rob, I have a question… how safe are those phone codes that you see that provide certain information about your phone/connection…e.g. *#67#. Can these codes be used for nefarious purposes?
I am interested in your knowledge. However I only use my phone for legal activity and doesn't matter if someone someplace knows who and where I am.
I don't use a smh card because I brought a device only. So it never "came with". Now that I have a phone like that I value privacy more...and also don't like paying big $$$$ to big tech which also screws you over (financially)
Buy a smh card? Never. Not even in your wildest dreams. I destroyed the smh's even in previous phones
Cutting them up made pleasant ASMR. Hahaha
9:35 well, that woke my whole house 📳😮🤨
what about the new Unplugged phones being produced in Malaysia .I recently saw where they have produced 10k so far and taking orders.
I am a Targeted Individual and for the what reasons, I have no damn clue! I've never broken any laws that I know of. I've never hurt anyone and never threatened anyone and etc. But yet, every device I've had for the last 7-8 years, has been hacked! I'm followed and harassed daily. The list goes on. I plan on getting one of your de-googled devices. I just wish I could find out why I'm targeted or who put me on that list!
What is it that has allowed you to discover that your phones are hacked?
Are you a knight? I could use one.@@StuartOswald
I think you just might be paranoid. Its perfectly normal. Just relax about it. Accept what you believe is happening, but just don't overreact.
Look up Zesetzung and MK Ultra. I think there is an illegal govt program. I am also TI. Several of my abusers have outright told me the amount of money they received, but they attach nonsense reasons, like $600/wk for watering plants for a family friend
What about AI voice recognition?
Use an AI voice changer to make you sound like a Biden... the police will instantly stop listening and burn the tapes.
@@hxhdfjifzirstc894but then the call will go on forever and the other party won't understand you
@@hxhdfjifzirstc894 LOL, great idea.
An eSIM (embedded SIM) card works similarly to a traditional SIM card, but it is embedded directly into the device rather than being a removable piece of hardware. Here's a breakdown of how eSIM technology works, including its reliance on internet protocols:
Embedded Nature:
Hardware Integration: eSIMs are built into the device's motherboard, meaning they cannot be physically removed or swapped like traditional SIM cards.
Mr.Braxton, have an idea when shipping degoogled phones to gernany available?
Can't one pay a cloud to run a server there that would implement a "telephone station" and, if the users connect to it via VPN it'll be hard for others to see who's talking to whom? Maybe it could even be setup to only accept connections from the VPN...
Fight global surveillance! Fight WEF, fight big tech and NGOs. And now replace fight with a common curse word🤣🙏🙏🙏
Makes you wonder how criminals can get away with anything these days…you know what I mean?
Because nobody is trying to track criminals... they're all busy tracking you.
@@hxhdfjifzirstc894so sadly correct
why you use windows?
Mr braxman, do you have one of those phones that will work in European countries?
Our De-Googled Pixels will work anywhere. But the virtual phone service is US/Canada only at the moment
Hello, can't you anonimize your calls by using a prepaid sim bought in some random store? Or does that require that you provide your ID
please make it available in Europe
Mr. H. ™ approved . Brax man 🙏
So... Brax phone hotspot to run a hotspot connected onion server... Internet ISP to Brax hotspot to onion server. How about this for a home server?
Sounds good … what about people from outside the US? Can they still able to register for your Brax phone? How about making international call? Again… even without SIM card.. but when you use the internet… it is still traceable
So, the cell phone that you use and pay for, is, in reality, possibly the "mark of the beast"?
Asking for a friend.
Tell your friend to go de-Googled. LOL
How would I get the phone that is degoogled or able to be degoogled without dealing with these companies in the first place?
I'm really going to implement this if someone can just break the basic part of getting an anonymous phone first
Yes I saw at end of Video thanks 😂
What do you think about Calyx Institute solutions?
We install CalyxOS on our devices by default. If it's not BraxOS we use Calyx
VoIP will still be able to be tracked
Track WHO? Watch the video so you understand the point. No KYC no identity.
@@robbraxmantech so VoIP doesn't use an ip address?
Are you understanding the problem? All conversations and texts are tracked. No doubt. It doesn't matter how it got to the PSTN. It is tracked. But if your numbers are not tied to an identity then who is talking? Obviously it is better to not use a phone at all. But absent that, something like this is like a burner phone.
