The trick to our riches in the West was interest over a very long time. The colonial business model works best when colonies are kept poor. How do you do this? Tinubu must retract his statement about sending troops to Niger. Ecowas is ill-equipped to intervene in Mali. It's imperative that Ecowas establishes a military force solely dedicated to protecting democratically elected presidents. This elite force should comprise of 100,000 highly trained soldiers equipped with advanced technology to prevent coups. This is a crucial step towards ensuring Africa is no longer held back by such coups.
