Thank you for this video. I have an older Ness EZ-1000 fogger that was not working at all. The pump was all caked up with crud, and with this video, I was able to bring it back to life.

Thanks to this video, I saved 90$ to change my antari Z-1000 pump ! Thanks a lot ! Just a little thing before starting the pump, try to pump manually before assembling all the components and fill all the pipe/pump parts with smoke fluid, it will be easier to start the machine.

Hi all! Glad some of you have been helped by this. I don't check in here much since this is an old account. Frankly I was surprised to find that this vid has almost 10K views. For what it's worth, the fogger in the vid only made it through that years Halloween and the next. I imagine If I'd caught it sooner, it might have lasted longer. Happy Haunting!

The pump in my stairville SF 1000 fogmachine was stuck, too. The easy was to fix it: I sprayed some caramba multi purpose oil into the smoke liquid line and then pumped the whole thing through the pump and fog nozzle with an airbrush compressor. Fixed!

Thank you, and the camera-girl. I am going to try it with my SP-13a Micro Pump - China. Fog machine BeamZ 1500 - stopped to work after test it home, clean it using the Cleaner Fluid, and after it stay without work about 10 days only. We have great festival tomorrow, and I tested it - nothing is going out from the fog machine, only terrible noice from the pump. I disconnected the output, and it doesnot pump out any liquid. :-( If anyboda have the same problem, and knows how to solve it with my type of pump, help me please. Thanks, Michal - Prague, Czech Republic

THANKS, Dexter! I recently acquired two of these to replace two dead 1050s, and wouldn't ya know I forgot to prime one first? So now I've got a brand new SEIZED SP-35a and I'm tearing it apart.
Q: With the same type of jump ring pliers as you have, I'm having trouble wiggling the pump housing off the base. Any suggestions? I'm afraid a pipe wrench would bite too hard, destroying the circumference of the shaft. My versions of the pump is slightly different; it has a plastic intake cap instead of brass as yours the hose attaches to.
    Thanks for any replies.

I have taken the pump apart, but I do not have any buzzing sound coming from the pump. Pump or coil?

Any idea if your adjustments on those 2 screw-ins changed anything, I have 7 1700 Chavets that I neglected :(... I am soaking the heaters in vinegar and I now have cleared 1 heater ..YEAAAA.. and 1 of them regulators seems to be broken. Also 1 broken tempeture wire.. Fun trying to find parts on a machine they don't make anymore :(.. not sure if you still check this video for comments.

HD: I'm STILL fooling around with ours. One OK; the other still produces a trickle. Less noise on that one, just a buzz. Am going to fiddle with both the top brass nut that holds the brass case and the rear screw adjustment opposite the fluid intake to see if that opens up the flow a bit. I've read the adjustment screw to the left of the fluid intake doesn't seem to change anything. Will post results.
