6:33 too true. I jumped into movement tech as my first unlock was horizon and while the bunny hopping was invaluable, wall jumping and tap strafing haven't really featured in my games because i'm still working on map knowledge and aim. Now I've been focusing more on my aim and positioning, but still struggling with map knowledge. I have a handful of areas i'm comfortable with but that doesn't help me when my random teammate drops right on the path in an unfamiliar place and i'm suddenly fighting two teams with zero gear.
I used to blame the Mastiff for being a bad weapon but it was really my aim, instead of jumping around and shooting panickily I slowed down and that weapon as one example shreds. My main issue now is that I can't help but take a fight but that is suicidal in Apex in particular with the third partying, need to pick my fights and keep an eye on the zone.
Yeh the peace keeper is so good I was only good with the Eva 8 but tried the peacekeeper and this kid who died first blamed me for being bad lol and I used it and at first aim was dodgie but then I kept hitting my shots and actually made the 1v3 clutch and I’m gonna watch the rest of the vid rn thank you for the tips too
I’m in my honeymoon phase with Apex right now. Every new movement tech I incorporate feels ground breaking and the tangible daily improvement is so nice to see
Rotating, what comps enemies have and lastly aiming/looting YOUR best gear. Set yourself up to feel comfortable in every situation basically :) goodluck! I love apex!
I personally think that the best thing for winning 1v1’s is unpredictable movement, abuse of cover, superior positioning, and use of your arsenal (such as throwables, heals, weapon swapping when out of ammo in a mag, and legend abilities). On top of these things, aim is critical but you don’t have to be shroud or Timmy to win most 1v1’s. Definitely keep practicing your aim whether that be in firing range, arenas, or some aim service, but also try to review your fights with the other aspects in mind to help you win fights where you may have missed some shots. I clip all my best plays and my worst plays and review them to see what I could have done better, what I did well, and what I may have failed to consider. It is extremely effective! Not sure what rank you are or skill level, but I’m down to practice 1v1’s together! My gamertag is Hazania, feel free to send a request.
@@HaydenEvanoff I agree with all of these except for unpredictable movement (on console, If pc I completely agree). In high ranked lobbies and even publics I don’t use much movement in combat and usually just focus on aiming. Aim Assist is so strong (not complain) that movement is almost completely outweighed by it. Of course, a great strafe can still help you if fighting someone with lesser skill.
@@Sadoku1 I agree for the most part, but for example peaking the same side from cover over and over is highly predictable and will get you killed in mid-long range fights when 1 or more enemies are focused on you. Aim definitely trumps movement, but movement should not be overlooked. Killing someone who is not moving or is moving directly towards or away from you is far easier than enemies that properly strafe or use slide jump mid fight. I one clip enemies frequently who do not use movement in a fight (and I only play on console). I try to think of it this way; the more I force my enemies to turn their screen while trying to shoot me, the harder it will be for them to keep up. I add the unpredictability, because if you just move one direction the whole time at the same speed then it’s not too hard to get one clipped.
Wattson sucks but i noticed mains that play her are good players all around. They usually can play anyone and still have some kills. I need to get like that
Ngl Apex his really really hard to get better at specially as a new player because of the matchmaking, u can be level 50 and ur lobby is full of masters, just like mine, So its hard to get better at apex when you never really have a chance to improve when ur getting one clipped by masters and preds
thx for video also i dont know the recoil of flatline... in firing range its ok to handle it but idk what is the pattern in normal fights... i think i should draw it on paper xd... btw hledám cz/sk group do rankedů takže kdyžtak se ozvěte :)
Thanks for the tips. I just started playing this month on PC, I have zero kills and the PSN players I am hooked up with are telling me to just practice in the firing range. I am jumping into trios "as a solo player" so I don't get the team killed. I am learning the maps, learning how to hide very well too. I made it in the top 2 and 3 many times and get leveled on survival time points alone. I am doing damage to others, just not enough yet. One of my PSN friends are suggesting I use a game controller over mouse and keyboard. I am sticking with the mouse and keyboard. When I enter combat with a random team in BR, I tell them over the mic, "I am a noob and will most likely get you killed. Don't risk it coming for me, if I die.". Also I found the Map Room on one of the levels where you can ping all the players location. Very good intel for any party to have, I am shocked nobody goes there more often.
my tip for valk is to turn the jetpack boost toggle off (where you have to hold spacebar to fly). If you time it right, especially once you get close to the ground you can damn near bunny hop with it. This has allowed me to move insanely quick and get height on people while my teammates decimate them from the other angles. Go into the firing range and practice it or in pubs and just glide yourself around until you get the movement. I've been having a blast with her! Lastly, coordinate her tactical with your team and if you hit 1-3 of them, they are slowed so allow your teammates/you to capitalize on that. GLHF bud!
I like that you used the word “rapidly” instead of “instantly” because people think you can get the best just buy playing a few games, if you wanna get good at ANYTHING you gotta put tons of time an work into it

Hey Kristjan, anything in specific you're referring to? We cover a variety of topics and subjects, if you hear the same tips - it's because we believe they're very important and a lot of people should implement them.
My aim is improving everyday. I need to learn how to disengage and reset my gun fights, if I don't get a quick wipe
Nice man keep it up u got this
Same tbh.
Bro how do you do that, I'm getting so p'd off everytime I have to learn a new season meta
Season 10 was the BEST season

I've been playing since a week after the game released, but I took a long break and lost all my skill
Thanks for the help
Bruh I started fresh and hit plat within a year of playing and took a year off now I’m dog

I'm primarily looking to improve my aim/tracking and winning my 1v1's right now.

Im going to be working on all of the above. Hahaha. Apex is life now. Was a tarkov player. Apex has consumed me.
I subbed and liked this helped a lot thank you I just started the game and I main octane so I’m bad lol
I used to watch you guys for getting better at fortnite and I improved alot.
New upload 😈

For people who didn’t realize, check the description for the time stamps.
Yeah I’m looking to improve……everything. I only played cod and overwatch but the color or apex. Messes me up

I'm almost level 300 but I play more like a level 100 lol. I feel this so much. It's almost unenjoyable sometimes
Same I feel like they need to add more skill brackets with the games population rising
Yeah I started halfway in season 10 and feel way behind, I feel like I play with people who have been playing WAY LONGER than I have
legit just started, I’m at lvl 15, and I literally get in matches with people at lvl 500 and smurfs, truly so encouraging to play the game 😐
What server r u playing on

Grinding Arenas has help me improve more then anything.
i want to improve my aim, my movement with octane as my main

Wow me too I started on pc 3 days ago from psn and I have more kills on my level 18 pc account than my level 300 psn account
I wouldn’t recommend playing solo, it’s a team based game, just play matches and practice movement and aim in firing range
Also stick on keyboard and mouse it’s better
"Don't think you have to focus on all these things"
Me: *Playing apex*
I’m looking to improve my fps 😭
Yeh same I play Nintendo and my parent promised me for a Xbox Atleast but then they didn’t buy me enything not like it’s soo annoying
Same
Luv R99
Apex is a game in which you can improve your game and actually feel you are getting better, unlike valorant you get 100s level player from the start
Nice
9:02 that was fucking insane
How do people even use the r99, the recoil on that thing is just to hard
Aim labs and counter strike.
Me: try to improve and climb up to diamond.
Pred: in my lobbys. Every game.
what about what you are doing? playing on random servers to get easy dmg, should everyone do that?
my sim is improving but my long range sucks
How did you control your recoil so good pls tell me your secret
Jiggle your mouse or strafe when you shoot
Firing range. Shoot, strsfe, shoot, strafe. Every weapon, every target. Reps reps reps than dropping hot and getting into chaos!
Practice, learn recoil patterns go-to firing range and shoot your gun dial in your sensitivity till your accurate
I hope my friend maple cream watches this 😎
I know I'm not tripping but this mans mic is either bad or makes him sound like a robot lol
I panic when there is more than one person. I main Valkyrie and Wraith. I’m having trouble with Valkyrie movement
