Meal prep monday! Maya Higa once again mealpreps on stream in her tiny house! Today the pipes are frozen so no water, hence the ❄️crying❄️ title, but we still persevere and make more vegan meal prep

For chia seed pudding, per one cup of milk put 2-3 tbsp of chia seeds. 3 if you want it thick, 2 if you want it watery. I usually go 2.5 tbsp and coconut milk is def the best.

this weather is horrible. i had a frozen pipe burst and cant afford to fix it for like 16 days lol. gonna be rough for a bit
damn maybe i am glad i don’t live somewhere cold. sometimes our pipes burst for whatever reason they’re usually fixed pretty quickly but it’s always soooo miserable. 16 days is crazy
It was rough and quite stinky for sure lol. luckily a handyman came to my door after like 14 days and gave me a really good deal, and even let me pay him half then and the rest next/this month. he was a life saver! @@jordynensor2081
I live in a trailer so there's like 3 feet of space underneath the entire house that's practically open to the elements. Apparently I also had older piping that was more prone to bursts and I wasn't running the heater that much because the electric bill would've been crazy. There were other trailers that had bursts as well but I definitely could've lowered the odds. You have to take multiple precautions when you live in a trailer that you don't have to do in a regular house, so I think you'd be ok in a non elevated home. @@jordynensor2081

i’m vegetarian and i use mayas sort of philosophy when eating. i used to be super strict but after learning that any product that has cheese can’t be confirmed to be vegetarian and sugar isn’t always vegetarian which means i can literally never buy any premade anything with sugar and have to make anything sweet myself i was kinda like shit okay that’s a little crazy. it still honestly bothers me but i’m trying not to let myself be bothered by potentionally eating byproducts of animals because it’s not like it increases demand. i’m not gonna go out and justify eating a steak or anything but when it comes to small byproducts like that i figured it’s better to actually somewhat enjoy food than be so strict. idk what i’m saying
when it comes to things that are easily replaced tho i will like chicken broth for example i have these little vegan chicken bouillon cubes and they taste great
That's what my friend used t do. Good vegan but at restaurants she would treat herself with like tomato soup. Most tomato soups at restaurants come with shredded cheese on top or possibly cream. Having it every once in awhile is still way less than most ppl consume. My son doesn't get a lot of junk food. So when he has it at relatives or school it's ok cuz he rarely gets that.
I just got in the habit I always had jugs of water b/c made sure i had water for my late dog (tap water) I don't drink tap water I'm scared of it. N now I stay stocked up on every manner of water, jugs all of it. B/c i had a infant n now 2yr. Old n i had the baby water n distilled water. But if i don't use the tap water for my dog like now. I can use it to wash dishes n wash hands, brush teeth n bathe. I just got in the habit of that.
See I thought the tea towels at the garden center were just those draw string bags which I love. Like a purse or pencil bag.
That's what I was gonna say. Can drunk men remember that they didn't wash their hands? B/c guys get hammered b/c there's that stereotype that they have to drink a lot to get drunk or peer pressure among guys....maybe sober, they might wash their hands n they might wholeheartedly think they did. I'm not sure they can remember or tell. Just like ppl being to drunk to realize they left a door open.
