New subscriber. When Cyndi sang the theme song to "Laverne and Shirley" I was in the Marine Corps. If Marines had seen who Cyndi was....her poster would have been in every Marines wall locker. Semper Fi
I feel like this could have been hit but.... It's not because of her vocals. Her vocals are amazing! The music isn't right and it slightly drowns her out. If she found different music and rereleased this I bet it would be a hit today. I also wonder how good her manager was. She did the theme to Laverne & Shirley which is a spin-off of Happy Days so you think everyone would have been calling her manager wanting to have her sing or book her. She was new talent that was making a big splash because of the theme song which was released as a single in 1976. I am going to see if I can find her albums here on TH-cam, I want to hear them.
A perfect example of a wast of good talent their too busy tring to wait for them to come out with new material that instead they all fade away.....huh can u say GREEDY!!!!!
@@shiftalingshiftaling5334 I didn't realize who was Cindy was until today 17 May 2020. Like everyone else we her sing the theme song to Laverne and Shirley. I was in the United States Marine Corps then, we loved the show. If we would have seen Cindy's cute face, her poster would have been in every wall locker in the United States Marine Corps.
@@michaelwilliam5415 - You know Cyndi! Oh my goodness. You may be my last hope. I have been looking for her performance of "Dancing, Dancing" on American Bandstand ever since I saw it nearly 50 years ago. Can you check to see if by chance she has a video of her appearance on American Bandstand? I so loved that song and her performance that I never forgot it. Thanks so much!
not only a physical knockout❤...a vocal knockout with her pipes!!🎤🎶❤
Yes Cindy was.
