This is one of my favorite Los Lobos songs of all time. I enjoy all their work but the early stuff I really treasure and it comes with some great memories. I remember seeing Los Lobos at the Street Scene in San Diego circa 1986 and it was in the old Gas Lamp District. Two stages one on each end of the block. There were a lot of different bands Concrete Blond, The Smithereens, Trouble funk...So the audience was really varied. When they broke into Anselma they had punk rockers slam dancing.
