I don't know what it is, but I've loved the lore around Misraak's fireteam. The writing of these is so well done, you really get the feel that the 2 Guardians trust him and care for him which speaks volumes if you think about how pretty much any other Fallen they would have met would've tried to kill them on sight. Really cool to see they're getting expanded on. I'd love if Bungie made a couple more little lore entries that could go into them a bit more- maybe dive into the stories of how the three met and became a fireteam.
I think the event on Europa might have been the Guardians (or at least the Warlock) accepting Stasis powers. I remember near the beginning of the season, he wasn't too keen on us using them either until he saw that we hadn't been corrupted by them.
This is so awesome. Crow has been wanting to put together a fire team for a long range scouting mission, and along comes these two. Maybe this new fireteam will be the ones to initially explore the place that is in the new screenshot (London/Chicago) and tell us about it when we get to Which Queen.
I personally interpreted the "incident" on Europa to be not being there for him when his ship went down at the beginning of the season. But the reference to the Warlock weilding Stasis could be the thing the falling-out was over.
I think the "incident on Europa" refers to the Beyond Light campain and Stasis. The Warlock left an icy mark on the shotgun, indicating she learned how to use Stasis, and it's not too much of a strech to imagine that the Hunter can use it too. Seeing how devout Mithrax is to the Light, I doubt he would approve of his friends using Darkness, which is why they're making themselves scarce.
I'm pretty sure the "Incident" that was being brought up was the first mission of the season, where Mithrax's skiff was shot down and attacked by the Vex. When we went in to save him and he introduced us to the story of the whole season.
This really makes perfect sense; who better to be a fireteam with Crow, than the team that was willing to join up with a Eliksini/Fallen? Crow has a very identifiable face from his past life who was an enemy, so if anyone can accept him, it may be this fireteam.
Considering how my previous predictions came true for the season of the splicer, I really hope we get to see (either next season or later) Mithrax reunite with his fireteam briefly, have a small break in character and greet his old friends in a formal but affectionate manner, maybe a double arm handshake or a big old eliksni hug before Crow fills him in on what they've been up too in the background. Most likely scouting odd taken or hive activety in line with savathun's arrival. Really see the bug guy open up his tough shell.
I've been kind of an on and off player since Forsaken, though I played through The Red War. I got Beyond Light when it first came out, jumped in for a day or so during the Season of the Splicer and am now starting to get back into it with the Season of the Lost. Thankfully my account still lets me do the Splicer story, because GOD DAMN WHEN DID THIS STORY GET SO GOOD?!
season 15 theory: savathun gets a ghost as shown from the leak, throughout her whole life, her goal was to get her revenge to the traveler because she was betrayed. but knowing that she has a ghost now, her goal is now probably to destroy the darkness so she would probably want to bring the traveler to her throne world and protect it. i feel like since she has a ghost, we will kill her next season but she will be rezzed by her ghost therefore losing all her memories just like the crow. that would mean she has no idea what she did. therefore that would start the witch queen DLC
I don't like the idea of killing off a villain just to bring them back. It's okay with the one time with Uldren, now known as Crow, but not any more than that. So, I'm inclined to believe that this won't happen. In fact, I don't see us killing her. However, I can see her manipulating things so that we kill her Worm for her and free her from having to constantly feed it. Unsure if doing that will do anything to her Throne World, though.
I think the point of contention between Mithrax and the fireteam has to do with Stasis. In the other lore tabs you read, its noted that the Warlock is a Voidwalker (Blinking is specifically mentioned). However, when she touched the Hunter's shotgun, it left an icy imprint. Knowing other Eliksni reactions to Stasis... it's very possible.
With the way Variks explains what Houses Judgement and Kings did back on Riis and Mithrax calling the Wolves gentle weavers, I get a feeling the Wolves were shepards or artisans of some kind. They had to pick up the names from earth culture and could have had a misunderstanding of our idioms and metaphors surrounding wolves and sheep. If this is the case, they most likely would have been the house with most preserved traditions of the old ways of craftsmanship if it wasn't for everything that happened to them.. both under Mara and after we whooped Skolas.
When the warlock grabs the hunters shotgun it leaves rime on it. I think the incident on europa might have something to do with one or both of them embracing darkness.
I like that Ikora has these two teaming up with Crow - it makes sense. The Hunter and Warlock have demonstrated that they can be forgiving. The Eliksni have been enemies for such a long time, yet they were able to look past that and become a family with Mithrax. I have no doubt that they will be able to look past Crow being Uldren Sov, the murderer of Cayde-6, and see him for who he now is, just like Zavala and Ikora have been able to do. Crow has been in the dark for so long, because of the fear of what might happen to him given his past, and putting him in a fireteam will help him learn what it means to be a Guardian. As Byf says, its one step closer to making Crow the hunter vanguard.
This might be naive, but could the fact that the warlock (and possibly the hunter as well) uses stasis have something to do with why they didn’t talk to Mithrax?
If I had to guess it may just be stasis that may have caused the wedge between them. Mithrax doesn’t exactly talk highly about it in game and we can see the warlock has stasis powers from when she freezes the shotty in the lore.
Having Crow and Missraks as part of the same fireteam would be hilarious. Crow (Uldren the true Kell of the Reef for both Fallen and Scorn) and Missraks (the Kell of the new Peaceful Objector Fallen) the Fallen or Scorn wouldn't know who to trust/follow. You want nothing more than to have your enemies confused beyond belief. Makes for easy victories.
The untold events on Europa between Mithrax and his fire team most likely (to me at least) deals with the warlock and maybe hunter’s acceptance to using stasis. We know the warlock uses stasis thanks to the small detail of ice when she touches the hunter’s shotgun, and I get a strong feeling Mithrax doesn’t approve of anyone using darkness as a weapon. That could easily have created a rift within the fireteam, and while he doesn’t address our use of stasis as openly, we aren’t truly his friends, which could be a very different situation
@Tony Rotondaro nah I'd like the shadows of yor to be like the stranger more then a enemies personally and it makes most sense for it to be that way with who the shadows are and what they stand for
@@jaxzian what exactly is it that they stand for at this point? I understand Shin’s game, but the Dredgens as a whole is lost on me. Maybe they can be the dark guardians we fight when the new subclass is released. And with that new power, Shin lost control over them and calls on us for aid.
Personally, I think the Europa incident probably has something to do with Stasis. The Compass Rose lore mentions that the Warlock's touch left an icy residue, so she can probably use Stasis. Other bits of lore (one of the new weapons, can't remember which) have shown Eliksni reacting negatively to Stasis wielders, comparing them to Eramis, worried that they will be corrupted. So my theory is that one or both of Mithrax's fireteam got Stasis, and Mithrax Did Not Like That. He may be coming around to the idea that wielding Stasis does not mean that you will be corrupted in the way Eramis was, based on some of the lines he can say in Override.
I’m guessing the event on Europa would be them using stasis now, considering the shotgun was covered in ice after one of them touched it. Mithraks could see that as going against the great machine.
I feel like these two have both been mentioned in the splicer weapons for this season as well, in dispersing mobs of angry civilians from hurting Eliksni lives
I wish that guardians would pass through you like they do in the tower because in game it gets annoying when they either get in the way or push you off a ledge.
I think something that would be cool is if the house of light fallen are basically re-accepted by the traveler and then we get the option as playing as a fallen light class, like splicer or something.. just an idea
the said incident of missrrakks and Europa could be the "Achilles weaves" lore book as when they are picked up it is mentioned missrakks has a guardian with him, and that's not us because by this time they already are in the city, so unless it was crow, who was it? but there are holes in this like, there seems to be some sort of experience that missrakks had with his fireteam that has made him uncomfortable or at least made the guardians think that he feels uncomfortable with them so. \_O-O_/ future lore entry i guess
Wondering if the breakup between Mithrax and the fireteam was because of that subtle hint earlier that at least the warlock embraced stasis on Europa? Mithrax being devoted so heavily to the traveller and the light it would make sense that he would be one to oppose embracing the darkness to an extent, especially after seeing what it did to Eramis.
My guess on the Europa incident is maybe that his fire team was supposed to be there to help evac at the start of the season. but for one reason or another they weren’t making them feel guilty for nearly letting the refugees and there friend die.
You know, I completely forgot they changed the name to just The Queenbreaker, in D2, since I've always called it Queenbreaker's Bow XD Also, so glad to see more of this fireteam, and even that they're being fleshed out more with another familial spat regarding Stasis, Salvation, and Europa! Byf. I have a theory as to What the event that caused tensión on Mithrax fireteam could be: stasis. The warlock 'left an icy rim over the hunters shotgun' thats 100% stasis. Which you can Only get on Europa. During Overrides he at first openly dislikes stasis, then appears dubitous (saying hes seen stasis being used to help Eliksni) and finally he comes to the conclussion that Darkness of Heart and Of Hand is not the same, so basically accepts stasis as not always bad. My take is that something caused/forced the warlock to learn stasis, maybe to try and help Mithrax idk. But with all the stuff that the Eliksni Saw with stasis with House Salvation, it didnt look good. Maybe Mithrax felt betrayed by their fireteam using stasis (in a way, a paralelo to Sayuras story, but with mercy)
It’s obvious that they both have embraced Stasis an since majority of House Light escaped Erimis an House Salvation they more than likely have PTSD from their time in House Salvation so Mithrax probably doesn’t feel like they should be around the new House Light members just yet until they can see like he has that the Darkness is just like the light. Both can kill an both can save lives, it’s just in the hands of the wielder an their morals.

I can’t thank you enough for your content.
I’ve been waiting for these guys to be mentioned again!
This is so awesome. Crow has been wanting to put together a fire team for a long range scouting mission, and along comes these two. Maybe this new fireteam will be the ones to initially explore the place that is in the new screenshot (London/Chicago) and tell us about it when we get to Which Queen.
Let's goooooo another Byf upload
I personally interpreted the "incident" on Europa to be not being there for him when his ship went down at the beginning of the season.
But the reference to the Warlock weilding Stasis could be the thing the falling-out was over.
"Not a stranger, but definitely not a friend" dude sending shots at the wrong one haha
It's really good to see Zavala and Ikora on good terms. I was getting worried there for a bit.
Now if only Ikora and her Ghost could get along.
Even bringing Hive on our side even would really create a moment similar to Crow. Mythrax does mention working with Hive in the future hopefully.
@@xvx_k1r1t0_xvxkillme7 she has a ghost!!!! Pog
Great work as always. Thank you.
I think the incident on Europa maybe to do with the quest step kill fallen on the darkside of Europa. Having just come back I've just done that step
I just want to see a cutscene of mithrax hugging his fireteam and remarking on how he missed them
Mercy. Mithrax, the Forsaken, left you the nuclear-generate for saving him from the Hive knight.
Thank you for calling it the queen breakers bow such a better name
The outbreak perfected lore tab also mentions Mithrax and his fireteam
I'm like that with Dubious Volley. (The Wardcliff Coil)
I swear if these two have the same fate as the eliksni in the riiswalker lore tab, im going to cry real tears
Interesting to see how much mithrax's English has improved since he was first with his old fireteam
Man, imagine if Dredgen yor fought Shin malphur in the witch queen
Brother, yor is dead. He got his cheeks clapped by shin a while ago
@@cjkuhn2180 Then we make a new one! Maybe Drifter won't mind doing this solid for us...
I like to hope that the shadows of yor will play a roll sometime soon maybe like give us our next power
And that lore tab on Compass Rose made such a huge wave of "family memes"))
My boy Crow is finally getting his own Fireteam! They grow up so fast...
Pretty sure the event on europa is referring to the opening mission of the season but I could be wrong as well
I wish that guardians would pass through you like they do in the tower because in game it gets annoying when they either get in the way or push you off a ledge.
I am so happy for Crow to get more friends you have no idea.
byf is confirmed the grouchy old uncle of destiny, ranting about how it was better back in his day
mithrax was initially upset about stasis and the warlock is clearly using it
I think something that would be cool is if the house of light fallen are basically re-accepted by the traveler and then we get the option as playing as a fallen light class, like splicer or something.. just an idea
the said incident of missrrakks and Europa could be the "Achilles weaves" lore book as when they are picked up it is mentioned missrakks has a guardian with him, and that's not us because by this time they already are in the city, so unless it was crow, who was it? but there are holes in this like, there seems to be some sort of experience that missrakks had with his fireteam that has made him uncomfortable or at least made the guardians think that he feels uncomfortable with them so. \_O-O_/ future lore entry i guess
“Poor friend Shaw Han” Dont you dare lump me in with him
Wondering if the breakup between Mithrax and the fireteam was because of that subtle hint earlier that at least the warlock embraced stasis on Europa? Mithrax being devoted so heavily to the traveller and the light it would make sense that he would be one to oppose embracing the darkness to an extent, especially after seeing what it did to Eramis.
I hope that we'll get lore pieces of mithrax sharing some time with his old fire team
11:47 I doubt Drifter would give to to him, though. 🤣
"I dont care about ya guys fixin this night. You not getting either my trust or my trust. Bank motes or go home"
A lot of y’all know that if Mithrax wasn’t invincible at the end of Zero Hour, he would’ve been nuked by accident lol
Considering he got eaten by my nova bomb in the methane reactor in titan i can vouch for this
To think, this all started when one Guardian decided not to pull the trigger.
My guess on the Europa incident is maybe that his fire team was supposed to be there to help evac at the start of the season. but for one reason or another they weren’t making them feel guilty for nearly letting the refugees and there friend die.
You know, I completely forgot they changed the name to just The Queenbreaker, in D2, since I've always called it Queenbreaker's Bow XD
Also, so glad to see more of this fireteam, and even that they're being fleshed out more with another familial spat regarding Stasis, Salvation, and Europa!
Can't wait to see them help Crow be the best Human/Eliksni Ambassador he wants to be!!!
Brave of you to call Shaw han "friend"
Why does Shaw have such a bad reputation? Sure he's a bit of a goon, but is he really that bad?
@@SymbioteMullet he's basically a zavala simp, and even though he's a veteran he cant even kill some random ass hive witch with his fireteam and needs a new light to do so
@@SymbioteMullet he also keeps you stuck in the cosmodrome without a sparrow for like the first hour you play as a new light
@@collinfrye9555 Same thing happened in the Red War except it lasted the entire campaign
Mithrax is the arbiter of destiny
Looks like Robin Crow is going have a band a Merry Guardians to help with robbing the coffers of King Spider I among other activities very soon.
This could be good.
I've always wanted a mission like the one we ran with cayde in the prison of elders but with the drifter
The event talked about on europa is prob the public event where you save the house light skiff
Could you imagine if the traveler started allowing fallen to be guardians again.
I cant wait till this guy hits 1,000,000 subs
It’s obvious that they both have embraced Stasis an since majority of House Light escaped Erimis an House Salvation they more than likely have PTSD from their time in House Salvation so Mithrax probably doesn’t feel like they should be around the new House Light members just yet until they can see like he has that the Darkness is just like the light. Both can kill an both can save lives, it’s just in the hands of the wielder an their morals.
