How many decades it will take to decide the Rs 5000 crrore National Herald corruption case? People are on bail for many months n court is not at all taking up the case. Also Modi defamation case is also pending for so much time. SC is anwerable to such cases.

Relevant documents has already been collected submitted by Dr subrahmanyam Swami. It's central govt not acting properly.
British Government does not divulge any information regarding its citizens to any authority accept demanded by the courts of other country. Even then, it may , it may not divulge the information. Many British Citizens take advantage of this British Government position to escape the law of this country. Many British Citizens of Indian origin come to India for marriage and return back to UK promising to call the spouse to UK but never do so. When British Government is approached , it never help. No information is provided of the absconder. If anyone approach the UK Home Office it will never divulge the nationality of Rahul Gandhi even if he is actually the British Citizen except by the court through the government but here court seems is reluctant to do so.
Action delayed by the govt doesn’t mean the case shouldn’t be heard. That was a wrong line of argument by the judge. Wonder why Rahul Gandhi had not replied to the query sent by the Home ministry.
That is what Supreme Court did in the case of petition filed by Kashmiri pandits .Theywere willing to hear 1987 Sikh riots case but refused to hespar the petition filed Pandits about genocide of Hindus in 1990 saying it is an old case .How can 1987 case is new and 1990 case old only Supreme Court should explain

Judges should hear patienly everything and should not cut short based on temper or irrelevant counter. Matter is on valid citizenship. Interim directive to EC, Passport Office, British high commission, Hospital records etc should have been sought from approproate authorities within time frames as relevany evidence.
Court has much time to hear the fabricated arguments of Kapil Sibal, singhbi and many more.
The court should consider the petition seriously, otherwise people in high positions shall get away even after committing wrongs

Having a British national as MP now LOP is definitely a public interest litigation. How can a judge know the motives of the lawyer , are they competent to know what a person is thinking ? Does it matter that a petitioner belongs to some political party ?

Government of India should decide the citizenship issue at the earliest. It is an executive decision. Judiciary comes only after the government decides the issue as per law of the land.
Parliament, election commission and president has sufficient powers to take action on violating elections process. Courts wasn't required.

Judge agar kisi khas ko bachane ki koshish kar rahe hain to kya kiya ja sakta hai.
Lekin judge ka argument ki home ministry kyun delay ki koi justified nahin hai. 5 saal nahin hua to aab bhi nahin hoga aisa jaruri nahin hai.
Does India have a public protector (legal practitioner) who can investigate this matter and notify the petitioner and his legal representative. There are other avenues to obtain the original information required from a legal practitioner in the UK. Some maturity is required here.
Whatever happens in lower courts there is always protective cover in Supreme Court for elite and celebrities like Mamata, Rahul and likewise. For these people Supreme Court has seperate sets of rules to overule the lower courts judgements.
Being a highly technical matter, further deliberation is required and the issue should be put to rest with a vocal judgment in the matter.
So the public at large will have a clear understanding of underlying facts.
So rahul will esx cape again?
This is a very serious matter. Shamefully, even the Govt is sitting quiet on this. If at all any information about the citizenship is brought to question, the Govt should immediately act upon it, and this includes Election Commission, Courts etc. Disallowing such a petition, or dissuading such a petition by imposing strictures on a petitioner is shameful, as is casting aspersions on the petitioner's intent. We have so many andolanjeevis regularly taking up the precious time of the Govt and administration, but no action is taken against them.
When will we come out of the slavery mindset? Why so much importance is given to Rahul? Is he above the law? Is a very privileged citizen of India?!!! What kind of laws we have...pathetic and disappointing. Those who wear the black gown should feel ashamed of their conduct and comments. Looks like they are out to destroy the justice.

Who is petitioner or to which party he belongs is immaterial.... If PIL is relevant.... it is to b listened.... If not put a huge penalty to restrain PIL being filed to hv publicity or putting hurdles in public work....

The Union Home Ministry, I think is empowered to declare whether Rahul Gandhi is an Indian citizen or not. If such a stand had been taken by the Home Ministry, the onus of proving his Indian citizenship would have been Rahul's.

1. The petitioner is incompetent. 2. SC Judge should not get emotionally upset like this. He should have dealt with the situation with required gravitas. 3. PIL has become a joke now. Every PIL must be file with some minimum cost like 5 lacs rupees which may be reduced or waived if judges considers it so. No PIL should be taken up so quickly without minimum cool off period.
