We've been here a few times and everytime we visit Polina Şube Restoran ( Polina Branch Restaurant ) in Polonezköy. Their organically grown meals, never lost their personalities. Hospitality with smiles, and feels like home, with the warm and inviting surroundings. It's a well known family business, that cares a lot, about it's staff and clients. But besides the food. That's why we, always return.

As a Turk, I'm seeing this dudes videos he's like showing us the stuff we don't even know in Istanbul, I mean Polonazkoy like billions of miles away for most Istanbul res but damn it looks tasty and I'm loving to see an expat loving TR stuff in 2021 Turkey, cheers for that
Merhaba Armada. You never know what's in the next neighbourhood, Love exploring different parts of Istanbul. Still lots we haven't seen as yet. But enjoying, not only the food. But the hospitality. There's no other place like it in the world. Turkish to me are one of the kindness people I know. So blessed to be here living in Turkey with my wife. That bird... Maybe at one time it was tethered for a long time. Then now without it it thinks it ought stay in place. I had a pet like that when young. Took leash off but they'd hold the end in their month and stay in same area happily. They were used to it. That meal was hearty. I will make fried potatoes today as they looked so good.
It sometimes flies onto the roof of the restaurant and probably to other residents in the area. But always returns. The owner was saying that it doesn't like humans ha ha. Birds are very clever and if you look after them, they stay and become part of the family. They live for a long time to. Love potatoes fried. So happy you decided to make yourself some.
