Mia’s finally been granted a spot on Spirit Squad, and she’s ecstatic. But trying to be a normal teenager is proving a difficult balancing act. There’s a new boy who’s interested in her, but so is Lucas, Isabella’s father. She pushes Lucas away at first, but the allure of another set of hands and another wallet is too strong. Mia will have to decide whether a teenage single mom can afford to turn down support and help. The real question remains - what’s best for her little girl? Manny’s delighted with her now real engagement to Jay - and wants to meet his parents. It seems like a good idea until lies get into the mix. When will these two learn to trust one another?
Season Seven of Degrassi: The Next Generation will venture into new and more provocative territory for adolescents and young adults, as it picks up in the middle of a school year already riddled with tragedy. A fire at Lakehurst, the school of JT's killer, forces many of its students into the halls of Degrassi with explosive results. Amidst the newfound clutter and chaos, Spinner and Darcy deal with dark, personal tragedies, Jimmy and Ashley test their love, and Emma and Manny explore new, surprising relationships - all while hurtling toward graduation. New students struggle to find their places in the school, leading to violence and tears, but also healthy competition and new friendships. At the university house, the gang gets a new roommate, and strays further from the safety of Degrassi. Ellie and Marco discover that exploring their new freedom comes with dire consequences, while Paige, fresh from flaming out of school, gets a great new job, but learns quickly the demands of the real world.

The one thing I like about the S6 and S7 theme is that they show different evolution versions of the main characters in the background and how they grew up over the years, especially Emma..wow. The bad is the hideous white aura effect over the actors. I think Shenae walking strutting up and then the cute little hunch over spells Darcy 😘 I only wish they did a evolution background of Marco. And I like the last shot of the group of characters involved even though they aren’t featured in the credits like Anya, Sav, Toby , Ashley and Johnny Demarco
