Emma’s tired of being referred to as Kelly’s girlfriend and Blonde Emma - she’s not even blonde anymore! Determined to create a distinct university identity, Emma borrows some pot that was gifted to Kelly and smokes up with Becca and Gwyneth. Success - the girls think Emma is hilarious! Emma wants to uphold her new stoner persona and shares pot brownies with everyone at the Floorlympics event. Let the games begin… But when campus cops raid the room, will Emma stand up and take responsibility or will someone else take the fall? When KC’s hidden bad boy past is revealed and judgments are made, will he be able to keep his temper in check?
The eighth season of Degrassi: The Next Generation depicted the first semester of the 2007-2008 school year. This season depicts the lives of a group of high school freshmen, juniors, seniors, and college freshmen as they deal with some of the challenges and issues young adults face such as sex, sexual identity, drug use, financial troubles, child molestation, mental illness, cyber-bullying, sexism, hostage situations, careers and relationships.

It always confuses me how Kelly was in the opening sequence of the show but we only met him when Emma, Manny, and Liberty went to college and Toby didn't get an opening sequence in seasons 6 and 7.
