Spamton [NEO] would actually be a banger Sonic boss fight. Constantly at the right-most side of the screen on a mostly flat raceway, (maybe hills and valleys, every now and then a loop,) always JUST out of reach of Sonic, firing a steady stream of projectiles, [FLYING HEADS], pipis, phone waves, etc. Sonic would just need some way to send some of these projectiles flying back at him (maybe hitting the pipis) to slow him down, knocking him closer bit by bit, until he's within range for attack. Hit him a few times, then he returns to his spot on the right side of the screen, rinse and repeat.

quick fact that is mostly know nowadays, the infamous genocide city zone from sonic 2 demo it was going to be called cyber city zone. And the remix is too goood thanks happy holidays surreal
BAD FUTURE - Spamton has "becomed" NEO, took over the Cyber World and now the zone is at peril! Almost all darkners are frozen solid! All the lightners (And Addisons) are dangling over acid! Queen is nowhere to be found and only Sonic can cut the strings of this Big Shot!
I would imagine this boss battle would work like the egg dragoon battle from sonic generations except in 2D, and Spamton would throw pipis and his heads to try and stop you. Plus he would have similar voice lines from the generations battle but ever so Spamtonfied.
I feel like this would be a weirder weird route, Kris loses to Spamton neo at the end of snowgrave. Then instead of fading to the gameover screen, it fades to a cutscene where Sonic, Eggman, and Metal Sonic are fighting. The fight gets interrupted by a dark fountain opening and everyone gets sucked in, then you get control of sonic and run through a few Cyber City and queen's mansion themed levels. then you can fight Spamton himself, possibly getting help from Eggman throughout.
The music and sprite art make it kinda look like Metal Sonic and Organic Sonic were fighting, but then they were interrupted by an intruder from another franchise.... Sonic: "Whoa, what is that?" Spamton: *HEDGEHOG! I CAN MAKE YOU A [[person who is no longer alive]]. YOU AND THAT METAL [[demand the genuine article]] Sonic: "Metal? BAD FUTURE - Spamton has "becomed" NEO, took over the Cyber World and now the zone is at peril! Almost all darkners are frozen solid! All the lightners (And Addisons) are dangling over acid! Queen is nowhere to be found and only Sonic can cut the strings of this Big Shot!

Sonic was the only one able to dodge the cages and atacks after spamton does someone was playing sonic cd on a libary computer
I would imagine this boss battle would work like the egg dragoon battle from sonic generations except in 2D, and Spamton would throw pipis and his heads to try and stop you. Plus he would have similar voice lines from the generations battle but ever so Spamtonfied.
This combines Sonic CD soundtrack with Deltarune's and comes out with a banger

I feel like this would be a weirder weird route, Kris loses to Spamton neo at the end of snowgrave. Then instead of fading to the gameover screen, it fades to a cutscene where Sonic, Eggman, and Metal Sonic are fighting. The fight gets interrupted by a dark fountain opening and everyone gets sucked in, then you get control of sonic and run through a few Cyber City and queen's mansion themed levels. then you can fight Spamton himself, possibly getting help from Eggman throughout.

I love that this idea of eggman helping is technically a 3 v 1 similar to Kris and their group.
