@artarena in your video I never see any shaving or debris coming up when using the graphite pencil. After upgrading my pastels and buying the exact listed pencil it seems worse. I wouldn’t say I load on any of the colour either. Maybe I’m pressing too hard but tried to sift the pressure with no avail. It just looks to transparent. The crumbs are ruining my work at the end, minuscule albeit but for me a disaster 😂😞 Any tips or suggestions?

Well depends what your definition of ‘good artist’ is but I’d say you’ll find these videos can really reveal some results you never thought you had in you and if not (but not my experience) it will at least inspire you to do more and get better too!! I think I started out surprisingly well (good artist) just hadn’t used pastels in a long time and when I did it was rare (school). I started out with 3€ pastels, was actually really impressed!! But it was hard work. Immediately upgraded to better quality ones and am so much happier!
