Ah yes, a new Samurai one.
We’re getting so many “already dead” moments this run, I can feel it
I think it would be good if samurai’s slash was a concentrate thing. So that you could hold it down and do the full thing whenever, and just use however much bar you have. For example, if you have 250, it takes it, you do more damage than normal, and maybe it shows like a crescent moon. This is purely so that if you want to save full bar for a boss, you don’t have to just completely stop using slash in rooms
I swear, the amount of weird builds you can get in Skul have gone up exponentially, and the best part's that the majority of them work!
Feeling quite satisfied with looking at all of them in action, although still looking forward to the Mummy run! With all of the weird combinations, it's pretty exciting to think of how each run might go with the mixed basket of items and inscriptions!

“Alacrity” is my favorite new inscription. It’s madness with that baked in basic attack damage boost. Almost every skul benefits from an attack speed boost.

I think if Samurai had a passive that maybe increased its attack speed 2% per each consecutive normal attack landed within .5 seconds (up to 15 stacks) he would feel less clunky to play. Maybe his speed can be his strong suit since his damage multipliers are kinda steeped in one skill. It feels like I need Rapidity each time for Samurai to feel fluid. Alternatively maybe landing critical hits can reduce skill cooldown by 30% to encourage using the Single Slash skill.
I have been trying to build decent poison builds and Hunter does seem one of the more interesting I was lucky enough to get. It was basically Hidden Blade with Black Dagger and Poison on crit, which seems the best way to apply it, with Gunpowder Sword. It wasn't super OP broken build but I did finish the run and it was fun to apply poison from a screen away and watch those paladins just melt away without retaliation. Problem was the raw damage was hard to slot in.
I keep feeling like I need at least three extra item slots.

Samurai before the update was ok to me, not too exciting but not bad either. Just did a run with him and now he is so broken with the inscriptions. Surprisingly so is monkey with Arms. He shredded through everything with max Arms.

So I have an idea for a weird run, King Midas run. Basically you get full treasure and you need to play through the game with full treasure and other items of course but here's the catch the other items have to be gold in colour :).

Hey look at that, I got Masterpiece on a Prisoner run. So I guess I got both Masterpiece and Oberon in the new patch before you. I remember when I first started playing this game. I was so salty because you seemed to get Reaper way more often than me. Now look at me. The reckoning has come, Beelz.

I just noticed that Fulgent Dawn sold one of the items, in this case being the ring. You went down to 406 gold and back up to 828 at 32:36
I cut the footage but afterwards some chat guys were pointing it out too. Fulgent sell off 1 item to compensate for the fact you've gone from 2 to 1. I further added to this saying that if Ents Gratitude from Yggy was made to give you gold when it destroys itself (same with Voodoo Doll) it would immediately be worth keeping

I got a banger Oberon run the other day, started out with shade and I got the light spirit off yiggy, got to act 2 saw slime there, got 2 dark spirits immediately lmao. It was beautiful, I got dark paladin too so it was just the dark man build. The rest of the spirits filled in after that

Basically the fountains are used by Joan to slowly introduce dark quartz to the soliders to slowly make them stronger without them blowing up for taking to much at one time
So they’re putting a holy debuff on you, and you’re using their dark quartz fountains in order to gain your strength back

Dunno if it's fate or irony with the info on Diablo Immortal, but Alacrity is the name of the passive enchantment for attack speed from Diablo II. Eg. X "Weapon" of Alacrity

So now that the update finally hit consoles, I have to say? It's a step in the right direction but I can definitely see why they want to tweak how we get items.
The new items work fine but getting a build going DEFINITELY feels harder then before.
Yeah, especially with how the inscriptions work now as well as the sheer VOLUME of items. Like, we've got nearly 100 items, but have yet to see a new skull added since the graverobber skulls.
I have a question for you beelz couldn't you do a full Balrog run since there is more items that boost Quintessence damage/ activation time ,this does me he will scale better then your last BaIrog run , know it would ofc be heard I just haven't seen anyone brought up the idea or i could be wrong but ya just wanna throw the idea out there
