I was at the fish bowl a few days after you I’m guessing and I counted 7 dead fish including the ones you saw. One of them was easy 25lb. Pretty sad to see tbh

Yeah man it’s a sad sight to see, and it’s important to say it’s not just handling the fish, there will be a lot that die for a range of reasons especially after spawning. But it’s all the more reason to look after them the best we can when we do handle them, because from my experiences I’ve seen some releases that don’t give the fish a chance of survival.
