Bravo. I was seeing a lot (a LOT) of Bladerunner/Synthwave/Ambient/etc recs and decided to do a sampling survey. The sameness was nodticeable, and even though a lot of the music was beautiful, relaxing, meditative and generally competent, few stood out. This one really does. I think there's a greater element of musicality, of the component elements 'fitting together' better than most of the others. It ain't pop tunes, but it does contain _resolution_ , as opposed to vague washes of sound. Great work. Among many examples, @10:00, the sax sound just barely introduces itself, and eventually, without transition, becomes a melodic overlay and it's just so seamless and full of feeling I love it. And then the piece is not afraid to _build_ ! Most of these tracks draw back from ever _getting anywhere_ . This one doesn't, and only falls back to calmness to take another beautiful run up that beautiful hill. (eventually to the wonderful guitar part) Thanks.

Past passions print paintings of wonder across the sky and through the city of light, A hallowed memory, a thought worth keeping as the sorrow of loss continues seeping through the halls of my dying heart. Wonderment and joy during my last moment, as the rain falls a clearer image of myself appears on the ground, I smile back to myself as the last tear falls… My soul's ascension, like a C-beam near the Tannhäuser gate, a life turned into ethereal light as my eyes come to rest in this peace filled night.
When I was a child, I remember watching blade runner for the first time, I was maybe 6 yo. Didn't understand everything, but the the movie and the music stuck with me instantly. Especially, this sad, though extremely assertive, synth-sax sound on the Blade Runner Blues track gave me chills and I remember feeling slightly jealous to the musician that performed it. I dreamt I was able to come-up with this sound, those lines, this sense of music and being able to improvise in this manner. That love of this movie and its soundtrack, stayed with me ever since, and that jealousy on that particular sound and feel as well. Though I never had real hope... My musical life led me to learn the guitar, far from synths, far from sax. But I recently dived into an amazing little machine : the Zoia, with which I discovered an unsuspected love for modular synthesis and guitar effects design (& this little monster mixes astonishing power in both area) Few days ago I stumble on an amazing patch made by someone else called "Saxobone" making the Zoia into a weirdly convincing Sax-guitar-synth (in whatever order works 😅) with amazing playability : it keeps all the nuances and dynamics of guitar playing and even respond differently to different pickups. th-cam.com/video/P_rW2jOIkP4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Tj1iuPy9zixnngxi I had good fun with it till I told myself, "Ooh that might sounds really good drenched in some Hall reverb..." Yeah...meh..., that works nice, but I need more freedom and longer time to develop some impro. And I found this 1h Gem you made around that track. What a wonderfull job you made with this ! So true to the original and yet so much attention to details, beautiful progression and nice tastefull touches here and there ! That was the absolute perfect track to improvise on ! I played the entire hour with it You allowed me realize this small dream I had since childhood !
