Love the stories, love the format. Any riding is good riding. Just keep doing what your doing, that works for me. It's just nice to have a laid back watch
I’m 6’5” 230 lbs and I felt the same way with the seat and backrest. My solution was Corbin aftermarket heated seat and rider backrest. It sits me 2” further back, the backrest is placed right, and puts me in a slight sport touring lean rather than sitting straight up.
I ended up putting a scratch on my seat getting on/off during the first couple of days of getting my 2023 Gold Wing Tour DCT. Sometimes I ride with an Air Hawk seat pad, but it depends on how far I'm riding. Under 400 miles no seat pad. When going over 400 miles in a day, use my Air Hawk seat pad. Longest ride in 1 day has been 800 miles from Grants Pass, Oregon to my home in Delta, Utah. Definitely made good time across US-50 from Reno, NV to Delta, UT. Found out that the Cruise control will not work after 99 MPH, and I was following a car that had passed me.... Enjoying your content. Keep the videos coming. You are very pleasant to listen too. It is incredible to hear your description of what it is to be a medical doctor in Canada. To hear you talk and feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but it appears Dr's dont really make that much money there? I live in the USA and the Dr's hear on average make 7 figures a year! Our residence make 6 figures. And depending on what you specialize in such as heart surgery or brain surgery you make multiple millions every year! I am a retired sheriff detective and made 36k a year. I now work as a communications officer sitting behind a desk staring at a screen tracking underground workers and my base pay is 110k. But of Course the cost of living here is absolutely absurd! I love your videos by the way. Keep it up.
@@williambowen6471 thanks William! Yeah - sadly not seven figures. We make a pretty good living - it would be low six figures in USD - taxes here are a pain in the butt though. Our top bracket is 54% and kicks in at about $130k USD. Sales tax is 15% and then there’s stuff like carbon tax on top of it. For all its warts though, I love Canada, though I love the US too, and we go as often as we can (we’re only about an hour from the Maine border).
Another fun video Doc. You do a great job of telling your stories. My 2021 Goldwing Tour is also black and looks like yours. The bike do not come with a back rest installed so your dealer must hade installed yours. I think I pit marks on my seat the first week I had it. I also made an install video which covers removing the seat. It is #62 on my video list. Not sure if it will let me add the link here. Thanks again for the entertainment and enjoy the rest of your weekend. th-cam.com/video/soDnYJ21MPU/w-d-xo.html
