@Chris-vy8by Sorry I just saw your question! I used Virtue Healing Oil, but honestly any heat protectant is fine. (I linked what I used in the description box if you're curious)
This is the best video I've found to show how well the Revlon hot tool works on curly/coarse hair! The kitty is adorable and an added bonus! I usually leave my hair curly but want to start styling it like this. Anna, can you please share what hair products you used before/after? It would be super helpful. Need to purchase products and hot tool together! :)
Thank you so much for the sweet comment! As for what products I use, tbh I switch them out here and there because I've yet to come across a product I love SO much that I'd repurchase. But here's what I used specifically the day of this video: Before: - Shampoo & conditioner: Purology Hydrate (the purple one) - Heat protection: Virtue Healing oil (not worth the money IMO. The other one I have is Tresemme heat tamer and works just as well) After: Nothing since my hair holds the style well enough on its own. Yours probably will too since you have curly hair! But if it doesn't, you can spray it with a little light/medium hold hairspray. I hope this helps!!
Hi, this was a super guide. May I know any product suggestions before the blowdry? I used same tool but it turned out frizzy straight😅 for me so cudnt really manage the mess
Thank you so much! Before the blow-dry, use any heat protectant you like. They've all been the same in my experience. I personally currently use either Tresemme (Heat Tamer leave-in spray) or Virtue healing oil. As for your hair turning out frizzy, that might mean it wasn't dried 100%. That's happened to me before, and that's when I realized I need to keep blowing out each section until it's BONE dry. Because if it has even a *little* dampness left in it, it WILL frizz (if you have frizz-prone hair) 😅 I hope this helps!!
@@AnnaFosters ohh now I understand....I dint observe this only.. thank you very much... now I am very optimistic to get a proper blowdry... Use heat protectant and blow dry fully completely... thank you sooo very much... ❤❤
Hi! 😊 I didn't use any spray since I feel like it would weigh down my hair. That being said, my hair does hold a curl well since it's naturally on the curly side. So take your hair type into consideration! If you do need something to help with the hold, spray after! (not before)
The best video featuring the Revlon I've seen yet thankyou so much
