My husband is a doll fan and love your videos too, most of the time we watch them together, love from LA , California !
your daughter is adorable. found your videos while researching full body silicones. i am going to buy one but, oh the choices. i saw the video where someone had been rude about your daughter. she seems healthy and happy to me. my mom went through that when my brother was little. he is deaf without hearing aids and would get so frustrated when told no in the store and did not understand. people would say like i know what i would do if that was my kid loud enough for my mom to hear. one day at the grocery store she finally let someone have it back. my mom said until you have a child that is deaf and you know how to handle everything and have that child be perfect then keep your mouth shut. she started to say something back to my mom and her husband told her to shut up. she had said enough. he is grown up and now he keeps his hearing aids on and drives a 16 wheeler truck. and hears just fine. see, when he got frustrated he would pull his hearing aids off so he could not hear us and close his eyes so he could not read our lips. gotta love it.

I agree with you that you have to use discretion in selling your dolls. When selling or buying a higher priced baby it can be a stressful situation for both parties. I purchased my first from someone I dearly love and respect. It went great but I am sure my nervousness probably showed in our correspondence. I trust her completely and was sure about the purchase amount paid but worried about whether I would love the doll and bond from just her pictures and never owning a full body silicone before. I am sure you made the right decision and I am also glad my seller although we have never met in person gave me a chance.
I absolutely agree with you about buyers. I have never sold any doll but as i am quite new as a collector, i look for babies i could love and purchase. As a new buyer, i realise that many USA sellers don't want to sell to French customers anymore, because the customers didn't want to pay the taxes, for example. It bothers me, because if i purchased a baby from USA, i would know i have to pay the taxes and i would pay ! But there's also a risk in the other way. When i purchased my first reborn i've had to pay the whole price before i can see the baby in person. I trusted the seller, because i've been following her on youtube and Facebook for more than 1 year, but i don't know her in person. She could have kept the baby or sent me old pictures... When i opened the box, i was, in the same time, very excited and very worried. It wasn't a really big amount of money but for me, it already was a lot. Finally, i'm very happy. My little Victoria is gorgeous ! Not perfect but i must be her third mom, so her limbs are a little shiny and someone has tried to add red paint on her hands, feet, and knees (it seems she has played with eosin, which can happen 😁), but her face and her hair are perfect. Selling/purchasing is a question of trust unless you sell/purchase on platforms like eBay or Etsy... which is more secure, but restrains the choice. Audrey is very cute, her card is so nice ! I agree about selling dolls. I bet you have to sift through a lot of emails of people who are just curious and have no intentions of actually buying the doll. I have only purchased dolls at this point but have thought about how it must be to sell a doll. I wouldn't spend another minute worrying over what that person said to you - trust your gut!

I think that the reason the community reacts negatively to the Ivita dolls is that they are know to steal artist sculpts and this is a big no no in the artist community. The artists work so hard to create their work, so when companies steal this work, it is highly frowned upon in the community. For your daughter, I'd recommend Ashton Drake or Paradise Galleries for a more affordable option. I personally really like the Ashton Drake silicones -- they are around $200 and they have silicone head (with foam core) and solid silicone arms and legs with a cloth body. It's a good option that's more affordable. xoxo

I totally understand! It can be hard as a new buyer breaking into the hobby, but I think that writing nice, well worded emails/messages and being polite/nice go a long way. Is the doll good quality? I’ve heard good and bad reviews about Ivita dolls. One said that its eyelid tore, and that its packaging wasn’t very good. And since i have been wanting a full body silicone , i want to make sure that this company makes good dolls :) ( by the way, I’ve never had a silicone doll before)
I think the quality is along the lines of what you pay for. The packaging is definitely not good and the outfit cheap. The doll looks like a blank kit -- it does not have much color or any detail. I would strongly advise against getting one given that they are known for copying other artist sculpts -- I'd recommend looking at www.doll-fan.com for a nice secondhand silicone baby or www.childrenoftheheart.net. Kimbrys dolls is also another more affordable option as well as Carolyn Doughty. Good luck!
Theirs scammers everywhere. I got scammed off of the market place for two of My life dolls that are similar to American Girl Dolls but are a little bit taller. The dam women used a Walmart card that saposedly had money on it when it did not. I don't even know how that works. Preaty crazy if you ask me. I get so scared to sell my dolls at times now. But Ive been listing them no Walmart cards or cards like it just bank cards. But theirs still always that chance you know but I guess that's my paranoia lol 🤣🤣🤣. Anyways cute baby and lucky new mom to be.
