I play on PS5 and every single game mode has a full player game. I load in instantly to any game mode. I'm almost certain this game will never die. The battlefront player base is extremely dedicated. Especially with large groups doing community events.

I play with my brother, Its often easy to find a full server, however its also often you get put in an empty one, also people leaving after a game and nobody joining the lobby. Timing is a big factor though. For example, on reinforcement day, anything galactic republic is full of players. Its when we usually play.
@@MotoJP99 I never get put in an empty one, I even load up mid morning during the week when all the little kiddos are in school and find full lobbies of CS, GA, HvV, and starfiighter modes and even cargo. Nobody played those modes when the game was still getting updates. 😂 but here I am getting instant full lobbies. My luck must be better than everyone else's but I won't complain!
Been one of the OG pre-order players since 2017 lol. I love this game. I thought i wouldn't be saying this after the disaster MTX loot boxes but i love this game and i see myself going back to it frequently. I play on Xbox series S and im from north America and i find some pretty good lobbies still that are full.

This video is click bait for anyone wondering , it’s alright , the lightsaber combat is trash , u can’t even fill up a 64 player lobby , you’ll never get to play a hero in one of them lobby’s , it’s dead don’t even bother getting it

Very timely video. I purchased a PlayStation 4 in 2017 simply to play this game. I hadn't gamed probably since high school which was about a 20-year gap. This game blew my mind about what multiplayer gaming was. Fast forward to 2023 where I now own a PC. Last week I was reminded of the game and saw that it was on sale for $10. I couldn't pass up that price and it was definitely worth it.
I don't play much, but every time I return I find matches relatively quickly. It always puts a smile on my face when I return to it. The graphics still hold up years later. Campaign is a W as well. I love playing in first person giving the feeling that I'm actually in star wars
On pc?
Honestly just for the instant action and other offline content alone, it's worth it. I almost never touched SWBF2 (2005) multiplayer so having a lotta cool modes to play offline again this time around is a really good offering. Plus with the added bonus of having everything unlocked while playing those offline modes is great. Granted, I did play a lot of online multiplayer for this game on my PS4 when it was still being supported, but sometime after the Celebration Edition came out, I eventually got it on PC for the mods. All of the mods I have right now are just cosmetics but I kinda wanna try the gameplay-changing mods too.
Ok well if you want a stable mod battlefront + is the way to go a lot of other overhaul mods have some errors but at least for me the only mod I've played that was %100 stable is battlefront +
I love this game; it has amazing gameplay. I'm still playing the game on PS5 and I'm on the West Coast of the United States. I feel that you can always find gameplay on modes, but hard to find gameplay on Hero Showdown and Hero Starfighter. Honestly, I'm still amazed that their many gamers still playing this game, but why not it's a great game.
I still play my copy on my Xbox One. I don't think I've ever got my monies worth out of a game more than I did with Battlefront 2. Have been playing it since it came out. And yeah, whenever a new Star Wars show comes out, I always think about all the characters, skins, maps, etc, that we could have got.
I can't wait for you all to see what's coming to Kyber and Battlefront Plus. The future is looking increasingly bright for Battlefront 2 on PC.

Unfortunately I have had no luck with modding for Battlefront on PC because I have the Epic Games copy of the game.
@@charlesloble-dott I have the epic version from the free thing they did a while ago and I was able to mod it, don't remember if it's different from modding the steam version but youtube should have the answers for you.

I’m on PS4 and I’ve been here since release. Best £49.99 I ever paid for a game. Still playing 7 years later. I love Galactic Assault. Jumped on last Saturday morning and had a full server on my favourite map: Endor. Never have an issue finding a full lobby. Love paying instant action off line as well.
Love this game. In 2020 my friend and I reinstalled the game on Xbox in the US with fresh accounts. We played a lot of co-op so we could rank up our heroes as fast as possible. Never had issues finding a co-op game for any era. Once we maxed out all our heroes, we pretty much exclusively played hero showdown. Always able to find a game there. Game is still very much alive.
I live in Belguim I usually find servers, sometimes even in starfighter assault. Everytime I come back to the game after a while it is incredible fun. I also would like to recommend the gameplay mods they can add a lot. I haven't been able to play a lot with friends but from the times I did it, it was incredible!

I play on PS5 on the Virginia server in the US. I get into an HvV game almost instantly, any time of day or night. I also get into Strike/Extraction games all the time too. I rarely do larger game modes, but if I do, they are super easy to get into.
I will always love this game more than any other game I’ve ever owned. It’s not only been my favorite Star Wars game, but seriously it’s my all-time favorite game!
To help some people who are considering getting it, I'd recommend it, if you are from england or UK then it's generally pretty easy to find servers on console, I can't speak for other countries or platforms however
I play on PS and I always find games all modes tbh from Galactic assault down to Ewok hunt. It’s still very much alive for PS :) I’m actually hitting my friends up to runs some games tonight.

I’ve downloaded it a couple months. I’m horrendous at online except heroes vs villains. I seem to really be able to hold my own there and it’s honestly a fantastic game mode. I’d get it for thet mode alone
Great video, because Star Wars Battlefront II is still very much alive, especially on PC with its mod community, bringing all the beloved characters from the current Star Wars series to the game. I'm still playing SWBFII on both PC and console (PS5). Never had problems finding servers on the available multiplayer modes tbh.
I play on PS4 every few weeks. Usually have no problem finding coop, HvV, showdown, galactic assault, and supremacy but those are the ones I usually search for.
Still play this game to this day. Like you Elliot I take breaks from it, but I always come back…still grinding for 100% milestones and sometimes I just miss it, especially with mods :) I play on Xbox and PC, tho PC mainly for mods (which is a big reason to get it on PC, especially with it being so cheap). On Xbox, I can find games in practically every mode - I seriously can’t remember the last time I searched and didn’t find a game. It’s a little slow for smaller, less popular modes, but my friend and I still hop on Starfighter Assault and dominate near-full lobbies every so often. TLDR; BF2017 is still a thriving game with something for every SW fan, and with the passionate fans and mods still coming, there is literally no reason not to buy it.
This game is so good, it’s caused me to waste a ton of money on other games that I have not played yet. I can’t stop playing this game and I would put down $100 easily all over again if my disc broke. I’m in Florida, the US, XBox, still get full lobbies almost instantly. Smaller modes like Blast and Extraction, only 15 - 30 seconds wait. Best of all, it’s the Star Wars universe and very faithful to it in sights and sounds.
On Xbox, all of the big core modes are instant in joining (Supremacy, GA, HvV, Co=Op). Ewok Hunt and Starfighter Assault are also pretty good in finding a server quickly. However the other smaller game modes are pretty much dead least for me. Ewok Hunt especially has seen a nice boost in players likely due to Halloween approaching.
Xbox is in a decent position as well since EA Play is included with GamePass Ultimate, so every EA Star Wars game is available.
I'm on PS4 and don't really have trouble finding games except for hero starfighters and ewok hunt, takes a little longer to get enough people but eventually I can get a few games in. The co-ops are great to level up your heroes without getting massacred as quickly as you would on heroes v villains, but I was late to the party on campaign and man did I enjoy that mode.
Honestly, Co-op vs AI is underrated. If they built a whole new game around it (kinda like Exoprimal) I would be on board for it.
I’m an og XBOX ONE preorder of the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition in 2017 and it is still my favorite video game of all time. I still enjoy playing it from time to time. I’m in the eastern United States and always find lobbies in the popular modes.
When i first played the game in 2019 it was great i stopped playing in 2020 but now in 2023 i restarted playing it and every server is full the only problem is entering a specific suppremicy round but thats fine so especially in 2023 i totally recommend (wait for it to go on sale on steam if your broke)
I play on PS5 in the PNW region. Pretty easy to find a match during peak hours in most game modes, but I've noticed later in the evening, you'll be playing in lobbies that aren't full, especially in Blast
I don't spend a lot of time on multiplayer games, but I have put over 1500 hours into BF2, it's a really great game and a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I don't play it anymore because I've already spent many hours on it, and there are other games out there too, and it's kind of depressing to play it now. I miss waiting for updates, checking the subreddit, "CT when?" memes about the pizza guy, the mustard legion, the environmental clutter, some of the OP broken stuff like Palpatine shooting through walls until Dice killswitched him and fixed, launch Anakin etc :) btw the last time I played was a year ago and I played on EU PC servers and it was easy and fast to find matches in all main modes such as Galactic Assault, Supremacy and Heroes vs. Villains.
I’m from Europe, I play it mostly on weekends. It’s hard to find full matches sometimes can take 1-15 minutes to actually find a full lobby

I live in the US, play on PS4, and I usually only have trouble finding servers when I play in the mornings/before people are home from school/work, or when it’s super late (especially on weekdays)
Im playing on PC and I can usually find matches for almost every game mode that I want to play. Love the game til this day and I believe its still going to be an active game in the near 2-5 years unless a new multiplayer game releases.
I'm in EU and always play coop with my brother on the Steam Anniversary edition. I don't like the other modes, but coop never gets boring

I play on PC on the West Coast servers and mostly play Starfighter Assault and finding games depends on the day. Triple XP and Double XP days are the most populated and sometimes on Mondays, there are some games because of the Fast Spawn event. Overall, I really enjoy Starfighter Assault and I wish it got more love and support but alas we can't anymore. Wish we got Grevious' ship, Ahsoka's Starfighter, The Ghost, and Anakin and Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighters. The list goes on. It does take a grind to get purple cards, especially for Starfighters. But I've enjoyed my time playing it.
All these years later I can still hop on a game and it’s full of players, even on galactic assault mode! I’ve only been playing since 2020 but it’s a great game!
I play on Virginia servers on pc and its pretty easy to find games, its just sometimes u have to wait a while especially in hero showdown
I recently started playing in ps5 an I have never had to wait more than 10 seconds for a match
I play on PS4 and although sometimes I can find difficult to find any match, that doesn't happen too often. Most of the time I can just go on Galactic Assault, and it'll be able to find one match after only a few seconds, and in Heroes Vs Villains I almost find a match instantly, with almost a full game. Although I don't play this mode much anymore, there is also Co-op which is really easy to find at least one match, since u only need at least two people including u to be able to play it. Overall, the player base is still good on PlayStation (All PlayStation Consoles Can Play Together) and I can really easily find a match with many players in it usually, so it's definitely not dead and worth buying.
The space combat is amazing in this game and their is always a game going on when i jump online. I love this game now that the loot boxes are gone.
I've owned the game since ps4 and i recently bought the celebration edition on my ps5 and I get into games immediately all the time! I still play quite regularly, but nowadays I usually hop on and play co-op.
Im playing on PC and im from Poland. Its quite easy to find servers but its not that easy to find servers that have the minimum player count. Most of them need 5-10 more players to start. And these servers take a very long time to fill up. Around 10-20 minutes. Heroes vs Villans are very easy to find, the problem is really inly with co op a dsupremacy. Sometimes i spend 5 minutes finding a server that Has the minimum player count to start. To sum it all up its hard to find a game
Playing on PS4 in Sweden, some servers are dead but most of the time I get into full servers!

which server do you play on? i tried server hopping but i barely got any matches regardless of mode which frustrates me very much
I play on PC on US Oregon servers and for the life of me I cannot find a lobby for anything other than Co Op and Supremacy, and even that can be a struggle sometimes. I spent an hour searching for a Republic Supremacy match, I finally found one, just for a hacker to be in the lobby. It's honestly so hard to keep playing the game when I have 4000+ hours and keep finding empty lobbies. I don't know if I'm just unlucky or what. Also, every lobby is just filled with sweats nowadays (I'm one of them). But sometimes I just wanna chill and play the game and Co Op has gotten so stale for me, and don't get me started on HVV where its always one sided. I want to continue playing the game, but with empty lobbies, people always sweating or hacking, or the game just being overall stale. I don't know if i can continue playing.
And some of the best graphics in a game still today. Playing this in 4K with max settings is absolutely insane. The details, sound and surroundings are incredible.
I'm on XBOX in Australia and I'm a night owl so I just switch server usually to one of the American servers, I don't have too much trouble getting Galactic Assault, Supremacy or Heroes vs Villains
Been in love with the game since Alpha on PC. Got it on Ps4, too. Finding games isn't too difficult for either out in the Midwest of the US around evening times.

I play on Xbox and PC in the US and have been a fan of the game since day 1.
I will say though, my friend and I tried setting up the Battlefront+ mod with the kyber servers and we could never get it to even start up. The game just wouldn't launch, which is really a bummer because it seems awesome
As someone who actively plays on Xbox Battlefront 2, I can say that it is still alive. I mainly play Hero Showdown, so I might encounter the same people more often than I would way back then.
I play on PC for the mods I run a lot of mods replacing characters I don’t like with ones I do for example… my Han is Din Djarin, Dooku is Darth Nihilus, Kylo is Revan, Palps is Darth Traya, Bosk is HK47 and a few others all with voicelines included and text edits all cosmetic but makes the game a lot cooler for me
I play on PC and love playing GA, it depends on the time.. Weekends and after work hours are always the best time, might be a little slow during the hours where people are in school/work
I wish they would still work on it there was so much potential all the characters like idk how there fine with adding a Rey skywalker skin but not adding other characters 😵💫
I play on ps4 and im from Ireland, I can only find a game certain times of the day and it’s normally only one lobby full of people in galactic assault. It’s a shame
ive been playing since bf1 and bf2 day 1, still play on ps5, sad they dont update bf2 anymore or make a 2, but still one of my favourite games to this day

I play on the PS4 and I find most of the time a full lobby after a few seconds. But when I play in the middle of the night I sometimes have to wait a minute before the lobby ist full.
I play often on ps5 in northern EU. The only time there is hard finding a game is during the nighttime
I've been playing SWBF2 since the launch on console. Now I have it on my Ps5 with 704 hours game time, it's definitely still available to jump into the main game modes. Have to say it will always be my favorite game.
I play on Xbox Series X pretty regularly on the West Coast US server. I always find full servers on Galactic Assault. And usually the games are pretty competitive.
the last time i tried to play Battlefront 2 there was a glitch where everyone was invincible and couldn't die and apparently it was a glitch that was in the game for a long time, im guessing that got fixed?
PC and I'll dabble in all play modes but my favorite and the one I'm reasonably good at is starfighter. Flying the ships are badass and for a while there, I was really good at it...playing games where I don't even die
I've played since the beginning from north America I can find lobbies pretty quickly on xbox one I wish I had started on pc to have mods but I still enjoy the game to this day

Play on PS4 in Scotland, just jumped on played Star fighter assault and Galactic Assault. Faster to find a game of Galatic Assault but I had an enjoyable game of Starfighter as I got Skave 1 very quickly.
Just redownloaded this game on ps5 and found out I have 678 hrs playable on the ps4 😅 last downloaded it in 2019 and to my surprise very much so still active multiplayer. The game has such a commited fan base and superb gameplay. Battlefront II will never die ig, and I’m very much so ok w that
My best Star Wars experience was the Unleased 1 and 2. Now you can play it on PC in 4k, + Nvidia/Amd Controll Setting, + Maximum graphic setting, + 60 fps. And if you pay little bit for Mods you can play it with Raytracing. This Game look so awesome if i remember 2010 where i played.

I'm new(ish) to it. I played a few years ago on my son's Xbox. Just bought myself an Xbox and went straight for this. Online is always active so far, only game that wasn't was the Ewok hunt. Only tried it once though
I still have a blast playing heroes vs villians especially when you come across good players, never gets old 😹

Im on pc and its very easy to find supremacy age of the republic and HVV HSD and Blast mode its almost impossible tho to find Original Trilogy Games
BF 2 is such a unique game because it’s an “old” game and yet it is a game that is still thriving today. You can get into full lobbies no matter what mode or console you play on.
I still play 2015 on PS4 which is still quite active at weekends always a couple of lobbies on Walker Assault which I think is still the best game mode on all of the Battlefront's. But it's the maps on 2015 that keep me coming back time after time, they are so brilliantly designed which is what I thought BF2 lacked a little and I was born in 72 so the original Star Wars Trilogy means everything to me!❤❤❤
I can't tell how much grateful I am for content creators like you to keep talking and creating content about the game. I pretty much think that the game will only die when they release Battlefront III

Really only play galactic assault.
Always find a game however there’s only really one lobby going on at a time. So if you get a map you don’t like and try and search for another map your going to be put right back into the same lobby. Sometimes there’s 2+ lobbies in peak hours. You’ll often bump into the same players day after day, however if you have money spare and want a really good experience I’d definitely buy it. Micro transactions really put a bad rep for what is probably the best star wars multiplayer experience.
I play on PS5 and its pretty easy to find games for the more popular games modes such as HvV, Supremacy, GA, and Co-Op. Im on the Virginia servers and its been great for finding games.

Been around since pre order and I'm on xbox it's still alive, I can find games in almost every game mode except supremacy sequel trilogy.
It’s been a while but I miss battlefront 2 and will have to reinstall it again on PS5 (North America). It’s such a bummer that games like battlefield and modern warfare still get games but battlefront is left in the dust. Hope BF3 is considered one day or just reboot the series again 😂 I like the big galactic assault maps.
I've been playing the game since launch, mostly on US servers, even though I am from Brazil, the brazilian servers were never populated enough.
I am in a BF2 Milsim on xbox. We have a lot of trouble finding games during weekdays. Friday nights and the weekend are a lot better

Very easy to find games playing on PS5, just had a 2 hour Supremacy game yesterday where I had like 150 kills, & top player had 207 eliminations, so yea game definitely isn't dead and fun asf. Still manages to maintain that Star Wars charm after all these years.
I remember EA gave Battlefront for free a few years ago (celebration edition?), and I have played it in PC since then. Though I'm a single-player person, I'm sure I am not the only person who got that deal on PC during that period.
Really been thinking abt jumping back into Battlefront 2, watching Ahsoka and Clone Wars definitely makes it tempting😈😈

I play SW:BF2 on the PS4, I still can find a full server when I play, quick play is a easy choice but you might be in any game mode, I still recommend getting if you are a SW fan and want to jump into a multiplayer 🌟
I still play weekly on PS4 in Canada. No problems finding matches in the large scale. Smaller formats are iffy. Strike is pretty active but not anything starfighters - probably because of the terrible flight controls.

idk if this is just me, but me and my buddies returned to this game about a year and a half ago on steam through ea play. When I say we could not find any matches its not an understatement. No Supremacy, Galactic Assault, hero v villians. Nothing. We tried for over an hour.

Play on Series X w/ GP, usually just HvV and never have a tough time finding matches during usual hours. If late hours then you may wait for a player or two for a couple minutes max. Coop is always instantly available.
NA EAST and i usually always get a fully lobby of Galactic Assault. Always a great time and my choice of casual shooter (XBSX)
