I’m kind of curious to see how Monica will react to seeing Carol after all this time. Especially since WandaVision implied that she had a bit of animosity towards her.
My favorite issue of her in Champions Vol 2 - 5 "Troll Time". She had no confidence going into the fight, but Cyclops came in, they did damage and she hugs Scott because he remembered him being a kid and hanging with them. Literally the best comic for me of her, it warms my heart every time
Carol’s humor is this kind of reminding me of Gaz from Invader Zim, like she is so not into this and just wants to left alone to do her own thing… like I’m almost expecting her to say “I’m trying to draw a little piggy”, I dig it.
Regarding the issue of people going into the movie without having seen the TV shows, I think it'll be fine. I haven't seen all of the Marvel films but I've never felt lost when I watched the later ones that included characters from the previous ones. Marvel does a good job at scripting it so they allude to events of the past films so people like me can get the gist of what is happening and who someone is, without needing to see the other films.

Finally someone not dissing the Captain Marvel movie! I'm not saying it was perfect, it had its flaws (Fury not eating triangular cut sandwiches? come on!), but all in all it was fine and Brie Larson fits the role. Also, love Ms Marvel!
That was a classic case of people criticizing a movie for not being a different movie and completely missing the movie that was right in front of them. I really like Captain Marvel. And I liked it better the second time I watched it.
Monica can turn into a living hologram like in the comics! If the Secret Wars movie follows the comic at all, that's going to be diabolically important.
Dr. Strange didn't make any effort to recap the events of Wandavision, nor did Quantumania recap the events of Loki, so I doubt they'll be more than a couple of throwaway lines to explain who Monica and Kamala are.
I like all three of these characters, so I can't wait to see them all again. I think their varied personalities are going to make for an interesting dynamic, for sure. Definitely curious who the antagonists are in this one, too. And always glad for more Goose!

This looks fun. Intergalactic is a perfect song choice. "Don't you tell me to smile", "gonna shine like a sunbeam", "another dimension"... and the "Always brings me back when I hear Ooh Child" line works as a callback to the movie that introduced the cosmic side of the MCU. It just fits so well...and it's just a banger.

This looks great my one complaint is they got a small woman to play Lauri-Ell who is a giant muscle dommy mommy in the comics whose even bigger than She-Hulk.

I think they're only swapping places, in the scene where they're fighting, Kamala swapped places with Monica and she was on the opposite of the villain

You can definitely blame the quote dumbness on short minded fans that believe that most superhero should be one version instead of many versions. I do think that the first Captain Marvel movie was fine and fun to watch. But this definitely looks like they're going to have a lot more fun with the characters especially since they have Miss Marvel and Monica Rambeau in the film

I really loved Captain Marvel, and Miss Marvel was a cool show on its own (although weird pacing; enemies becoming good guys all of a sudden, bunch of characters showing up during the "planning" at the end. I think it could have benefited from more episodes, to transition those pacing stuff). Didn't see WandaVision unfortunately. I know a lot of people love those characters of Wanda and Vision, but to me... I dunno, I don't care as much about them. But if I need to watch it to get one of the new character here, I might look it up! :) Anyway, I'm already on board for Captain and Miss Marvel anyway! :)
Yea Ms Marvel felt like it was initially double the length and then budget/exec decision to cut it down meant the story was essentially cut down/shortened which is why pacing was so bad and conflicts resolved instantly almost
Almost everything the MCU puts out (aside from Endgame and maybe Civil War) tries to be pretty friendly to viewers who haven't seen other stuff, so I bet we do get some cliff notes for Monica and Kamala.
Already, this movie looks a lot better than Captain Marvel. I am loving the interaction between these 3! So far, I think Marvel's getting back on track!

I'm pleasantly surprised at this Trailer this could well do wonders for the Character and I must say the Florkin Moment with Kamala Was pure Gold Verrrry Florkin Funny ! 💥
Those switching place everytime they were using power reminds me of a sidescrolling and capcom tag team game where we can switch character mid action and continue the combo, will be interesting to see how they pulled it on the longer action scene
