Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 9 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have 2 half Thai, half American boys named Luke and Leon. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 6 years.
Wat and I have owned several businesses together on Maenam walking street in Koh Samui. Right now our restaurant Lilikoi Bistro is closed but we will let you know when we reopen.

I'm so glad you upgraded, not just the extra space but being able to elevate your legs at the end of pregnancy when flying is really helpful for swelling. Your Mum is so sweet to travel with Luke. Glad you got home safely 🙏

Pleased to see Luke in good spirit to be going back to Thailand after all that fun and treat during his time in the US and the short trip to Mexico. Maybe I thought he might resist as I only ever see him eating American food but given his age, it’s pretty normal for kids to have limited food preference but I hope as he gets older he’ll appreciate how lucky he is to be in Thailand and her world renowned cuisine. We will miss the colourful characters from your family in Idaho (glad your mum came with you) but happy to now catch up with family members in Koh Samui, can’t wait to see lovely Leon. As a mother you must miss him.
