Thanks for this great introduction! I've got a couple of questions - When talking about email marketing, you say that a great feature is that Segments pull in data directly from Zoho CRM, so they update dynamically. But they will only pull in data from CRM fields that have been mapped with Marketing Automations when importing/syncing contacts, right? When I set up a segment, the drop-down only gives me those CRM fields as an option. - Also, don't know if you can help me with this, but when I import Contacts from the Contacts module in CRM, they are coming into MA as in Raw Leads stage. Is there a way to select the stage when importing/syncing? Thanks
Hi Tiffany, Correct, they only pull in the fields that are mapped. To see more fields in the segment you need to go to sync services and map any missing fields. In regards to changing them from raw leads, setup a scoring rule in MA on Convert as the trigger to assign 50+ points to move them into the stage you want IE Warm/Hot so they don't show as cold/raw leads.
Hi McBeed - Yes, for now, we recommend sticking with Campaigns. That being said, Forms could be connected via Zoho Flow. This is included if you have a Zoho One license.
Tnank you very much this is an incredible walkthrough, so thorough. I really don't want to Synch MY WHOLE Leads / Contacts Module. I can either put some of my CRM list into another module, or Create segments in MA. I wish I could map a VIEW to MA, do you think that's coming like in 1.0? Any other suggestions? ALso, how did you get all the Deal Pipeleline STages ( Lifecycle Stages you say) into MA if its not a field in Leads? THX!
Thank you! So currently the idea is you sync everything and use segments to split, however, if you don't want to do this, you can export lists from your CRM and import them into MA (Static vs Dynamic). No mapping of views in 2.0, maybe 3.0. Deal and Accounts modules syncs are coming soon i believe, still only available in Zoho Campaigns. For this you would also need to create a list to export from a report in CRM and import the list into MA to target that specific audience.
Hi Ray, We discussed your contact syncing question on our most recent Issue of AZAAZ! Click here to jump straight to our response. 🎬 - th-cam.com/video/AvG7sDZWG4g/w-d-xo.html#t=19m43s
Thanks Wayne Great Product Tutorial. ZC and ZMA are now both on the Zenatta Probably List. For a long time you guys have said don't go near ZMA so I guess it's off the naughty list. I am using Campaigns and finally got it settled for my basic weekly and monthly emails. I know previously you couldn't have ZMA and ZC connected at the same time. Is this still the case or can you operate both now? Not that I want to but as I set up ZMA I would like to use ZC and then turn it off (or just don't use it) to use ZMA. I did struggle with the ZC workflows so this looks much easier 🙂
@@Zenatta I managed to speak with Zoho Support and they confirmed you can only have one of these natively connected. They did suggest that if both were used the second one could be connected by Flow
Hey DeusXPotatus! First off, you have an all-time-great TH-cam username. Now, to your question... we currently don't recommend moving over to ZMA 2.0. There are some bugs that regularly pop up that can shut down your marketing efforts while they get resolved by Zoho. We'll definitely make some video content on the migration process once we feel good about the stability.
What is there to callout? MA included a VERY basic version of Zoho social that only allows you to make a post. Not to mention half the time when you include the link to the landing page, it breaks on the tracking redirect. It is a feature that is very limited and doesn't work. If you want to really get leads tracked properly from Meta/X use Forms/Social/CRM integrations.
Auto populating segments via CRM is incredibly powerful I think. Great video.
Thank you for this great webinar! I expect you saved me many hours!
Great video, thank you!
Excellent overview. Thank you.
Porting everything over from active campaign looks reasonably straightforward. So I better going :)
Thanks for this great introduction!

I can't connect Zoho Forms to MA 2.0 and the form builder in MA 2.0 is too limited. Is there any work around? Seems I have to switch to Campaigns...

Can you sync Zoho contacts into Automation without the emails ?

You can only have one product activated at the moment and the workflow builder in MA is much nicer indeed!

I have Zoho One, but my ZMA does not look like this. I must have 1.0?
Most likely, open a support ticket to Zoho to request MA 2.0.
I just realized it doesn't sync "LIst VIEWS" From Leads/Contacts so DO no convert if you need that.
Marketing Automation 2.0 is much better than the first version. Seems like it’s time to switch from Campaigns!
The journey builder in ZMA is SO much better than the one in Campaigns. Looks way cleaner. I've been begging them to update Campaigns' builder.
Hi awesome video, can you create a video on the new migration option from ZMA 1.0 to 2.0?

@@Zenatta ooops. I wish I had seen this comment 5 minutes ago.
This guy completed marketing automation without calling meta or X. Seems this is helpful for people getting leads from website 😂
