Not about the video but you should try a HS press. Just balance on the heelside of the board. Does this trick have a proper name btw, if it did probably coconut like a skateboarding coconut wheelie.
If you’re trying to spray the water from the outside in and start going away from the obstacle (and from the cable), it basically means that you’re carving into the water and you’ll be naturally going the direction that the board is pointing to. To avoid that, just turn the board for it to be more perpendicular to the obstacle so that the spray would be more to the front instead of sideways. You won’t get as much spray to the side, but to fix that, just dig in more with your heels (without changing the direction of the board).
I don't know why I wasted my time watching this tutorial but it was still fun lol... But come on guys learn how to slalom ride or whatever it is called going from one side to another and spraying will come itself..

i cant hold the spray for more than a second. I always turn in the direction of my board. How do i hold the board to spray the whole obstacle?
