Hey @lsls4378 What version of the game is this footage from? I noticed cloud and barret have about half normal HP and MP for their level and the guard scorpion was -very- beefy!
@Shadow Flare ha so I forgot when I filmed it I had installed a difficulty mod many years prior to that. I was just trying to get some quick footage and obviously spent 30 minutes killing the guard scorp instead. I want to say it's called Insanity Mod? But it's a PSX emulator with a modded iso.
Its wild how 25 years later we can all come back to this game and just the music gives you chills and butterflies. God... times were so much simpler as a youth. Little to no actual stress. Times change and we grow but the music stays with us forever
thing is i didnt saw it that early, im currently 19 and watched my mom play it as i was probably 6-7 she allowed me to sometimes do leveling for her, i was super happy. but i agree, even for me its a big nostalgic playlist :D
Final Fantasy 7 is the game that made me love life. I was going through hard times when it released, me and my family had just moved to a new home and I had troubles adapting to the new lifestyle, but I started watching my older brother playing FF7 all the time, till one day he gave me the controller so we could both beat Sephiroth in the lifestream. I know, there is no way to lose to him, but to me that was one of the most gratifying moments in all my life, we beat him, we saved the planet, and I felt nothing but trust coming from my brother. Thank you for posting this, it brings me back to that moment, it's like a breathe of heartwarming nostalgia.
Don't worry it's not about age I was born 7 years after this game released and got into it thanks to my dad this game is really one of the best of all of time for me
Everytime you release something and people gather in the comments it feels like I go to the 7th Heaven Bar to meet like-minded people. Awesome work, like always !
I've been sick with flu this week and had to stay in bed. Decided to start ff7 og again. Just managed to get out of midgar tonight👍. The real world is terrifying.. For my kids especially, and it's hard to feel any sense of hope or adventure these days. But leaving midgar today again gave me that sense of wonder and adventure I don't think could ever be replicated. 39 and feeling like a kid again haha. Need to sleep now though I'm not 13 any more gotta rest these bones 😂
Man, I would LOVE to just have that prelude on loop by itself. Having the harmony/non-dominant be stronger than the melody for a little while is a really cool sound that I haven't heard anyone else do before!
11:55 Kannibal, Marble pawns and you, make me go back to my childhood and make me feel as if that had been a magnificent moment, full of happiness in life, that I never seem to be able to recover... And in the form of music, thank you! 💜
I love how you cater to your audience. We appreciate you and your hard work so much. Thank you for taking the time to do these. You're incredibly talented and it's always a highlight to my day when I see a new vid from you! Thank you again! Keep up the amazing work!
It was around november in 97 when i rented this game. It was too hard for me to finish at the time because i didn't speak the language so i died in the countdown explosion. otherwise great game
I'm late, but this is definitely an amazing way to start or end my day. Thank you for all three 'discs' of amazing jams and chill music to just relax and calm down to! I hope this Fantasy is far from Final, and that we continue for a long while.~
Man, what a great game = 7 was just superb. One of the console GOATS, without a doubt. The love surrounding this game is palpable. They should remake it - but make it more like Kingdom Hearts 3!
Played this game on release in 97. I was in 7th grade . If you didn’t get a chance to feel that vibe let me share it with you. 😂it was epic…. Easily anticipated heavily by the commercials you would see on TV 📺 about it, we always swore there was a way to get Aerith to come back. There wasn’t but that didn’t stop me from maxing levels to 99 and getting her to her final limit break making an epic save file before the temple …. Just the way the story progresses , you are this mercenary ya but quickly discover you can maybe help fight a bigger battle and you also are linked directly by your own experiences to the antagonist … when everything comes together perfectly and lore so deep 25 years later we still can’t touch our toes. ❤❤❤ ty for this share it took me back to my childhood .
Every time you release these, my day gets that much better. Thank you for making this so available to all of us here. I bought it from your bandcamp and would recommend everyone else throw dollars/currency your way to support you in this. :)
Thanks man, much appreciated. I have 6 songs from a new FFX project that are almost ready to release I'm doing in collaboration with dansg08, hoping that'll be ready to good soon.
@@lzls4379 what's the best way to contact you outside of TH-cam comments? dansg08 is one of my fav channels for FFX content and while I use another channel to work on Smash Bros. content, I would love to work with you/offer any guidance for any FFX lore/gameplay analysis/content if you're interested
Who else played the free demo, the one that ended after you blew up the first reactor, that came in a PlayStation magazine before the game was released and almost went mad waiting for it?
Huh, wonder where some of this footage is from. Maybe it is just a coincidence but at 6:10 he opens the menu in the spot where speedrunners do the frame perfect encounter skip.
@@lzls4379 Oh I just see it watching streamer Calebhart42. Using manipulation the first encounter happens around that spot on the bridge. FFVII has a bug where if you open the menu the same frame you would have an encounter then it skips the encounter. Speedrunners will often open the menu and rapidly close and reopen it like in this footage for "two chances" at hitting the frame perfect skip. Because this is the first "trick" of a FFVII speedrun I've seen it dozens of times. With how similar it was it triggered my memory.
@@lzls4379 the speedrun can predict the exact spot a battle will happen if you follow a precise path (called stepcount). Some battles can be skipped by opening the menu on the right frame.

Awesome job, love it 👍
Thanks!
Thanks for this! I always love coming across Lo-fi versions of songs or soundtracks I enjoy. It always puts a whole new spin on things.
I love all your FF lofi playlists. I love "Good night" -- it reminds me of Hiroshi Yoshimura. Great job!

Lofi mixes are a hit or miss for me, this one was a hit though. Thanks!
This is hands down the best FF lo-fi mix! Thank you!

That forested temple remix “ancient” is fantastic….
Thanks! Definitely my favorite.
Talking about nostalgic nachos. Bringing back those whitey tighty Saturday morning memories
This music was great and helped me write my fantasy novel, but I don't remember the graphics being so bad! :)

Helped me with learning some internet enjoyment
My fave music ever, the nostalgia is so strong
You deserve so many more subs my guy.
I hope you start making music again
Extremely underrated
yo lemme get a hella extended version of this prelude def the best version of the prelude in a min
Omg not until I heard the main FF theme in this style did I realize that it sounds like Angelo Badamenti(sp?), the composer of Twin Peaks....
natsukashii my dude.
This is awesome. Also what an epic boss fight
Lovely mix, thank you so much!
Amazing songs :) Thanks! Looking forward to more of your music!
