Hey Louis i hope you're doing good and have time for a favor I'm about to ask. I implemented notifications in my app using firebase and do send notifications to a specific device via device token But the problem is that the token is not constant it changes after some time and I'm unable to keep track of it. Is there a way that the token remains constant for each device so that i doesn't cause problems and i can save that token on every login Thanks 💕
Usually the token change for security reason, what you can do is to temporarily save the last token on the local device. you can use shared preference maybe. I hope this help 🔥
@@FlutterMapp did just that, I did go through the documentation which says if storage memory is cleared or it's a new device the token will reset. What i was doing calling the get-token function almost every time which was changing after a day or two. So now i just called it once upon login and saved it in database which means upon every login the token gets updated and the user's not crazy enough to login and logout almost every day haha 😆

Ask in his discord server. People are very helpful and supportive in his server
