I have 3 first round picks in my current dynasty rookie draft, went with Bowers at 1.06, Maye at 1.14 and am currently on deck for 1.16.
My current QB’s are: Matt Stafford, Drake Maye, Russel Wilson
My current WR’s are: Jayden Reed, JSN, A.T. Perry, Brandin Cooks, and Adam Thielen.
Current RB’s: Rhamondre Stevenson, Tyjae Spears, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
Best players available are: Keon Coleman (probably goes next), Xavier Leggette, and Marshawn Lloyd. I also considered grabbing JJ McCarthy as a trade asset (or Maye insurance).
In your opinion, who should I pick if either one of those players gets picked now?
Coleman has WR1 upside this season. But Legette would be my next pick if Coleman is gone. If you have Maye - why go McCarthy?
My draft is tomorrow and I'm currently holding 1.02, 1.12, 2.02 and 3.05
I'll be drafting for sure Nabers at 1.02 and Jalen McMillan (my guy) at 3.05 if available
Currently trying to figure out what to do with 1.12 and 2.02
Might go double RB (hopefully Benson will be there at 1.12), but I think Jayden Daniels will be available at 2.02 as the guy between my picks is strong at QB.
Team is:
QB - Tua, Bryce Young
RB - Kyren Williams, Rachaad White, Zach Charbonnet, Kendre Miller
WR - Waddle, Olave, London, Dell, Josh Palmer, Shakir, Bateman
TE - Luke Musgrave, Michael Mayer, Taysom Hill
What are your thoughts?
Really solid WR core, so I agree with the idea of going with a RB and QB at 1.12 and 2.02
I think the initial plan of Benson at 1.12 and Daniels at 2.02 is a good idea, but Benson could be taken by then and hasn't exactly looked fantastic in preseason, so I'd consider a backup plan of:
Jaylen Wright - 1.12 (if you're confident 2.01 is not taking QB)
Jayden Daniels - 2.02
Let us know how it goes!
@@BackyardFantasy So, Daniels went 1.11, unfortunately.
Ended up going Nabers at 1.02, Benson at 1.12, Corum at 2.02 and McMillan at 3.05
McCarthy went undrafted so I was able to grab him from FA straight into one of my IR
Think things went pretty well
@@iandrumond walking out of the draft with 3/4 target picks is pretty good! And crazy that JJ went undrafted even with the injury
As long as Tua and Bryce are serviceable this year (Canales works wonders on QBs, so I like Bryce actually) I think you’re in a good spot
