- Skyler kicks off the season with a trip to Flatwillow Creek in Montana with an elk tag and a deer tag in his pocket. Little does he know he is going to get the chance at a bull elk of a lifetime.

Very nice bull! That was an awesome week to chase elk! I also shot my biggest bull to date on that Tuesday (20th), 2 weeks ago, on the west side of MT! Wait, Montana doesn't have any elk! 🤫😉

How much does a hunt like that cost?
$6,750 which includes meals and lodging and everything. You have to draw the tag also. Usually takes 2-4 years.

Congrats on a nice bull but if I'm being honest not that exciting and looked pretty easy.... private land, guided...just not into these types of hunts and not really sure why I watched.
Appreciate the honesty but we also hunt public unguided. Not all of our hunts are like this.
Don’t know if you get to these comments but we have a bunch of spots in eastern mt if you are looking for a big mule deer.

I live in Montana, and my guess is you are hunting on Private land! You don't see bulls like that on Public lands! Quite honestly, I wish the Fish, Wildlife and Parks would ban out of state hunting and leave the Wildlife to us Montanans!😡

For your 3rd season elk hunting u would think u might wanna try out your skills on your own n not go guided n become a real elk hunter where it’s on you to figure out where the elk are at n make your own decisions.
