I have a couple of plants that have managed to survive and so far doing well this second season in the south Texas heat. No flowers last season, want to be prepared to make one for my wife when they bloom.

When I was a child I tried to make a lei with roses from our garden but the petals fell off the string almost right away.
When I see roses in lei, they are usually smaller in size and in buds- more compacted. 🌹
